Seedlings or smaller plants are easier to ship and also acclimate better in my experience

Yeah I would agree with that for sure! Especially if they are hardened off.

Awesome info as usual. Do you have a recommendation on types of Nepenthes for new growers. The hybrid mix homework can bit overwhelming. If there was a recommendation sheet for new growers broken down by Zones here in the US it could be helpful. Others in the UK etc I'm not so certain since the weather is almost 180 out especially in Austrailia NZ etc.

Hey!! I do have a video on that but it doesn’t get that specific as far as zones but that is an awesome idea!!! Here is what I have at the moment Best Carnivorous Plants For Beginners!

Yes, thrips killed my fly trap and nepenthes as well. So sad... Is Captain Jack available in Canada?

I am sorry to hear that! :( I’m not sure if it is available there. Amazon might have it but not sure if there is anything preventing it from getting to you. I will do some research and see if I can find out some info or a comparable product.

I found upper Canada organic spray but make sure to check the label. It being organic should be good. If not use Neem oil. I find that very effective. Also you can try the natural route and get lady bugs off of Amazon. They are live and they eat harmful pests. Unless you are growing it in your home, lol.

@@Carnivorousplanthelp No, I can't with bugs. I have enough. Lol. And yes, I am growing inside. But thank you 😊

Neem oil will work as well. May take a few applications but should do the trick.
