Full sun you can google plenty of options. You can even go so far as to search out plants that help nature. Coneflowers are great for bees. I've got others for butterflies... hummingbirds... The choices are plenty. Just takes a little research.
Had no idea Columbine like shades. It reseeds itself everywhere but not on shade side of house. Time to introduce some in that area. The flowers just opened here and hummingbirds are enjoying it.

I just googled (shade plants for zone 2) and found a few... Caladium seems to have a few variations that are good for your zone. Happy planting!
