I have a confusion regarding battle of Salher .
All historian mentioned Mughal side led by Iklash and Bahalul Khan and Marathas by their Peshwa and Pratap Rao .
But actually Dilir and Bahadur Khan left them to seige Salher and Dilir himself raided on Pune .
Now what fate he faced ?
As some tells Dilir retreated received tragic news of Salher.
But He was not such a frail general .
Dr Balkrishna mentioned "Mughals sustained another defeat at Pune . Pressed hard by Shivaji It retreated."
Does any Maratha source corroborates it ?
Sabhasad is later dated and also it makes several mistakes in explanation. So I think explanation of Sabhasad shouldn't be taken ultimate truth .
