    So the weight-by-volume % is dissolved in a volume that is not precisely 100 (or 1000 or whichever quantity you choose) millilitres, because, as you state, the solute is added *first* and then the solvent is added in such a way that it is 'topped up' to 100 (or whichever volume) millilitres: is this interpretation correct?

    Your way of teaching is very good but you have to enhance your video-making techniques. Most of the things are skipped when you change your camera direction, moreover, your hand also covers the whole content on the paper, this is creating difficulty in understanding the lecture.
