  • Confused about molarity? Don't be! Here, we'll do practice problems with molarity, calculating the moles and liters to find the molar concentration. We'll also have to use conversion factors to convert between grams and moles, and between milliliters and liters.

    I have no chemistry background and I am currently taking Med Micro Bio and Physiology. Needless to say, a few tears have been shed this semester. I totally agree with Mikej1592. I look for your videos whenever I need help breaking down a concept. The way you break things down and explain them... I get it. I finally get it. You don't know how much we appreciate the videos and you for making them!

      Agreed! I have a similar course load. I'm a single mom on top of taking Chem I, Physics I, Algebra and Physiology II this semester. Tyler, you're the reason I haven't given up. I can totally do this with the help of a great mentor. Thank you 1000x!!

    sad to say i'm paying so much money for college tuition to be completely lost in 2 hours of straight lecture, when i can just watch your videos and completely understand the concepts within 10 minutes. god bless you for these videos. you're the reason why i get A's on my exams :)

    I'm not one to be found in the comment sections of youtube often, but I just wanted to let you know I learned mass stoichiometry from your videos as i was having trouble in class, and did the unit test the same day. I was surprised as you will be cause I got that test back two days ago and I aced it with a 101%. Now time to cram and learn solution stoichiometry. You da man.

    I know it has been said, but you have been my savior for college chemistry. I'm 63 and in college. I don't even remember if I ever had a chem class before. I was a nurse, so, I do know a little about chemistry. You've helped me more than you'll ever know. I can rewind you when I don't understand what you explained.

    Tyler! I just want to say from teacher to teacher that THIS is teaching! Organized, planned-out lessons, with appropriate emphasis and restating important details that should be remembered; and, finally, perhaps most importantly, no pretense and an assumption that we need to hear all "simple" facts stated for each step. Bravo.

      @@jslavenonw6395 I heard that they just show the lesson to you once, give you a syllabus and send you on your way at the end of class expecting you to keep up, no tutorials and no reminders if you fail you fail only in this case failing cost you at least a *$100*. so I'm now wondering if going to college is the right move to take once I graduate from high school.

    I can't tell you how many you've saved me this year with Chem, my teacher can be a little hard to understand at times so I always come back to you and you come through everytime making Chem actually understandable. I have faith I will pass chemistry because of you, thank you!! ☺️

    I do not have enough words to thank you. I have no idea what would happen to me in process of learning chemistry without your youtube lessons. You have the most effective teaching method I have ever seen in chemistry. After each chem class in school, where I think I am stupid because I can not understand almost anything, your youtubes help me to believe in myself and get my confidence back.

    Your videos are the best. You have simplified step by step methods that just click. I am over 50 and trying to get my chemistries, my text book is sometimes more confusing than ever.     Chemistry has been kicking my butt this whole school year and I never understood it. My teacher likes to just show the notes and explains for a brief minute and that is it. My friend recommended watching your videos because they are saving her grades right now.     I've cried so much lately because even when I take notes in class, watch the lessons again, work on it in my spare time, and come in for extra help, I still can't really pass. This is still kinda fast, but it helps more than anything. Thank you so much

    I love that there are people like you who do what you do, because I hate that my teacher cannot explain this at all, yet when you do it, it is all of a sudden "DUH, makes perfect sense, so easy" but when my teacher goes over it, I am like '.... wtffff????" SO THANK YOU, for being good at explaining things. I know what you're doing right, you're not skipping steps. You mention what is a solute, you show the conversions, you literally go through every single step. y can't teachers do that???

    I really wish that you were teaching my Chem 101 class this semester. You have no idea how much you are helping me grasp the concept of Molarity right now. Not that my professor isn't a really nice guy; I just don't learn very much from his lectures.
