Literally one of the most legendary games ever made in all the wrong ways. The actress only did it originally as a favor to a friend. To see her agree to come back is kinda nice, and she has a good sense of humor about how terrible the game is. And I'm very happy that they're playing it.
Also it was a 3DO game, not CDI.

They do these enough in advanced (for touring, for other work time), I wouldn't be surprised if they had this done a month or so before those ads started, and this playthrough was actually the inspiration for them.

whew. sometimes i think critiques of sexism in early video games are exaggerating a bit, but then something like this gets revived and i realize no, it really was that bad.
Yeah like games didn't REALLY start to get any sort of progressive until the mid 2000s... And even then there were games that really just saw women as objects..

The avgn review somehow did not prepare me for the insane gaps in what might be considered "gameplay"
There's practically no interaction without it telling you you've done the wrong thing 😂

I love how visual media is always like "have the plumber carry a toilet plunger around, otherwise how will the audience understand that he's a plumber?" Like, in the real world, if you need to call a plumber, it's generally because you have a problem that a plunger can't fix.

I love how Arin’s saying that Dan can’t swear, but they made the mistake of filming that intro after Dan has given up on caring after all those shots he had to take.

This game was actually for the 3DO even more obscure than the CDI. I got the PAX cover art of this game from Limited Run, I absolutely love what they do for game preservation.
