Obeying God At All Costs

God does not call us to be successful only but to be obedient unto Him.
Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice and to heed than the fat of rams.
Faith makes a man a Christian. His life proves he is a Christian. Trials confirm him as a Christian. Death crowns him as a Christian.
“Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus. To this end I also labor, striving according to His working which works in me mightily” (Colossians 1:28-29).
Going around the churches in our nation, perhaps it will be difficult to hear a message on holiness, purity or heaven.
The reason is because this kind of message does not appeal to this generation.
The message of holiness, purity and heaven is not relevant to those who are backsliding or perishing because their eyes have been darkened by the god of this world (2 Corinthians 4:3-4).
What seems to be dominating the pulpit messages today is the new fags of prosperity, success-driven and progress achieving messages.
