I was so disappointed that Larry never heard of Taxi movies. 😢 The self proclaimed car culture nerd.... 406 taxi carried a whole generation of French movie/car lover.
I approve, go watch the "Taxi" movies. It's an amazing saga. Fifth one has been made years later by another actor so yeah you might not like it. But that's sooooo good.
Immediately i had to stop the video and go to the comment sections to inform larry that the Peugeot 14:09 is a tribute and inspired by the movie Taxi. Only to see that a lot of comments that share the same feels.. im happy that im with these kinds of people. Cheers!

Even the parking lot looks like a proper car show, Japanese car culture is just amazing would definitely love to experience it in the future, Larry thanks for another great video 🤟🤟🤩🤩🤩
The car at around 6:14 would be a Datsun 810 coupe in the US. I had two uncles that had Datsun 810s. One had a sedan with an automatic and the other with a wagon that had a 4-speed manual.
Been waiting for this parking lot finds. Honestly 8 don't mind a 1hr long video😊. Keep filling us with your passion Larry. Waiting for the shipment of your photo book 😊
@6:15 those vans are really nice inside, fully reclining seats with footrests in the 2nd row, ambient lighting in the ceiling, saw a couple in New Zealand last year. @16:00 Love the 3000GT(GTO) VR-4!!
1993/1994 Honda Integra received the USDM front bumper but the Japanese market didn’t like the new look so in 1994/1995 the Honda Integra went back to one piece headlights…I learned this from playing Gran Turismo lol
I love EF wagons. Brings back childhood memories of the Draggin Wagon from SS magazine. Also gonna need the paint code to that silver FC. Trippy color.
14:48 All early DC/DB Integra in Japan comes with round headlights. The front end is not a USDM exclusive. The long headlight version is actually 1996 facelift.
17:44 The plates are not matching colors, just coincidence. Kei car plates are yellow. It's one of the ways to easily identify a kei classification for a car.
@@bw8476 Yeah, that's most likely what the owner did. The S660 only came with one engine model as far as I know, that follows kei car law of less than 660cc and 63hp. Maybe the owner did some power mods to go over.
In Japan, in addition to normal plates, there are plates with designs that are issued for a limited time, and plates with different designs for each region. So, if you apply, you can exchange your kei-car for a white plate. In the past, they were issued to commemorate the Rugby World Cup and the Tokyo Olympics. However, as I recall, kei-car plates had yellow lines. There are also plates that light up when the headlights are turned on.
@20:59 extra lol aka ugly eh? My car forgive the crappy wrap attempt. Drove 9 hours down from Misawa. Snow ripped alot of it off. Daily drifter. Subbed
15:50 its a red comet/ red zaku theme from mobile suit gundam. red zaku is piloted by char aznable.. there is a meme/joke that if you paint anything red it goes 3x faster
Awesome Larry! I'm as much if not MORE interested in seeing what car enthusiasts in Japan are driving. This is amzing because in this vid they're all gathered. On a side note I'd love to see what OTHER cars drivers are using from the 70's through 90's (survivor cars as daily drivers) in this modern age. I know its not the theme of your work but it is related 😅 Cheers Bro !🤙
The JDM DC Honda Integras had that front end(slightly different to the USDM/EU/ADM R's bumpers) until 1995 when they felt the domestic market preferred the more "modern" look of the all in one lights. Apparently they thought their non Japanese markets preferred the older look. I imported a 1994 JDM Si-R with the four lights into Ireland in the late 90's a good few years before I ended up importing my 98 Spec R which I still have today. Tbh I do prefer the JDM front end. Even though these cars look _very_ 90's I think the JDM front end looks less dated to me and more sleek looking.
Hy Larry Its so crasy whats going on on the parking area, for a German JDM friend it is absolutly crasy so many awsome cars 🥰 Thanks for showing us this all this cool stuff. LG from a German JDM Fan PS. Is it possible that you can make a Video of the Japanese Van scene in the future there are so much cool (modify) Vans that we in Europa never seen. And by the way, the way you present the cars is so cool to see and your way to bring us this stuff at home is awsome. Sorry for the bad english i hope you know what i will say 🤔
@ the angle of repose of the headlight on the FD, IMO, matches more closely to the 928 - hence the reason I believe it’s from a 928 in using mechanism. The angle of repose of the 968 is at a greater degree of repose Just my $0.00002 as I’m not a P expert
PAUSE! So I can comment on Larry's video. Throw in my 2-SENSE. I haven't seen Larry in awhile, but this Tokyo Auto Show should have some badass WHIPS. Including the "Mirror'd Subaru Impreza". Or is that a "negative"??
14min 02secs the Peugeot 406. What a cool car! Those who don't know you must google/youtube search the French film "Taxi" and watch a car chase. That's an iconic car in France lol 🇫🇷
That Peugeot 406 is a tribute to a car made famous in the film Taxi. Crazy to see a replica of it in Japan!
I was so disappointed that Larry never heard of Taxi movies. 😢 The self proclaimed car culture nerd.... 406 taxi carried a whole generation of French movie/car lover.
And in the first one when he raced the Germans in their W124 500E.
The American remake was abysmal and should have never been done.
14:05 ALERTE GENERALE!
Larry, you gotta watch the French Taxi movies! (maybe skip the fifth one)
i didn't even knew there was a fifth one. The first 3 and then nothing.
"NIIINJA !"
I approve, go watch the "Taxi" movies. It's an amazing saga. Fifth one has been made years later by another actor so yeah you might not like it. But that's sooooo good.

they even have the same number plates as the movie 😆
Love these casual parking lot strolls.
14:10 The Peugeot 406 is a replica from a French cult classic car movie called Taxi..

Larry thanks for another great video 🤟🤟🤩🤩🤩
That Firebird is awesome. Either a 1991 or a 1992, super rare bodykit and Borla exhaust!
The car at around 6:14 would be a Datsun 810 coupe in the US. I had two uncles that had Datsun 810s. One had a sedan with an automatic and the other with a wagon that had a 4-speed manual.
This parking lot show is the one i really want to see! Thanks Larry..😎👍
I mean, I wouldn't complain at an hour long video with these beauties
That white car 200X is a Bluebird. In the Philippines it was sold as a Nissan 180B with a 1800cc engine.
200X has 2.0 liter engine
Larry, its not a Kayak....its a Canoe !
The Verossa hate cannot be tolerated
Thankfully I’m not the only one thinking that
Love this so much, its a dream of mine to go to tokyo auto salon!
Been waiting for this parking lot finds. Honestly 8 don't mind a 1hr long video😊. Keep filling us with your passion Larry. Waiting for the shipment of your photo book 😊
15:12 Ha! 😃
The Red Comet!
Char's ride.
@6:15 those vans are really nice inside, fully reclining seats with footrests in the 2nd row, ambient lighting in the ceiling, saw a couple in New Zealand last year. @16:00 Love the 3000GT(GTO) VR-4!!
Very cool, what cars! Thanks for doing this Larry. It’s sometimes just as much fun to check out the parking lot cars
That was awesome! I've been to some shows were the parking lot is just as good as the show.
Thank you so much for this video Larry! Awesome stuff!
Porsche 928 headlights
1993/1994 Honda Integra received the USDM front bumper but the Japanese market didn’t like the new look so in 1994/1995 the Honda Integra went back to one piece headlights…I learned this from playing Gran Turismo lol
Great stuff Larry!
10:05 when you have no idea that Larry Chen is filming you... 😅
Love this!
That was a coupe version of the Datsun 200b.. which also came in sedan and wagon
I love EF wagons. Brings back childhood memories of the Draggin Wagon from SS magazine.

The S660 was also on white plates, do people choose to upgrade power and get regular registration?
@@bw8476 Yeah, that's most likely what the owner did. The S660 only came with one engine model as far as I know, that follows kei car law of less than 660cc and 63hp. Maybe the owner did some power mods to go over.

These videos are the best!
@20:59 extra lol aka ugly eh? My car forgive the crappy wrap attempt. Drove 9 hours down from Misawa. Snow ripped alot of it off. Daily drifter. Subbed
Early model base and SI-R DC Integras had the four headlights
@8:27, i believe thats a re amemiya creation, possibly super greddy?, those lights actually pop up too
are you sure it's not a porsche 928 look a like? and yes, I believe the headlights do pop up.
Jimnys are the best!
Aaaaaahh yes cars...🤔 I see 🧐
Larry that white two door was a Datsun 810 Bluebird 2000 G6 Hardtop (JDM)
Yes I was hoping for a TAS parking lot video since Dustin Williams didn’t do one this year!!
Dude spottet the M2 concept 🤩🤩 looks so much better!
no concept its adro m2 redesign front bumper
14:56 the honda integra in japan also could come in 4wd
Start of DC integras in Japan had these usdm style headlights later on they changed to jdm later spec
So many cool cars just in the parking lot holy crap
And the award goes to...MKIII SUPRA!!!
15:50 its a red comet/ red zaku theme from mobile suit gundam. red zaku is piloted by char aznable.. there is a meme/joke that if you paint anything red it goes 3x faster
@11:30 i think that kind of gr86 wing was featured in the hagerty thailand video. the one with the cosmo owner
10:35 somebody is a huge Atarashi Gakko supporter

the "weird" 86 I think is all KUHL racing.
that bLACK CR-X is 🔥
DC Integra was an Si-R model with that front end in Japan I believe.
That RED FIREBIRD had a Wild BODY-KIT. I Wish I could have an Alpine 110
I’ve always thought the cars outside were as interesting as the cars inside
Hy Larry Its so crasy whats going on on the parking area, for a German JDM friend it is absolutly crasy so many awsome cars 🥰

Pajero/Shogun Evo’s the early ones are Twin Turbo but the later ones are MIVEC 👍
I'm starting to think the parking lot is a better show.
usable cars vs weird explorations into the culture.
Red FC head lamps are pop ups like a 928 porche . The lamps pivot up from laying down in the fenders,
The US front headlight Integra, is a SiRG in Japan
6:22 where is the yoink?!
16:15 ge8 fit
22:26 Could be a motorbike engine in there? It might be really quick!
14:45 For that integra I believe it's European market as well.
Larry: "Will go as fast as I can so it's not an hour long video."
Us: 😭
I miss the Mazda 929, not many remember those.
Alfa Romeo 159 was a manual transmission
It’s also one of the most beautiful cars ever made in wagon/estate form.
17:46 toyota estima acr30
❤👍
👍🏾💪🏾
15:30 ❤❤
I think those little vans would be cool in the US
8:52 Porsche 928 headlights; not 968
The 968 also had pop-up headlights so it still works even though these did look more 928.
@ the angle of repose of the headlight on the FD, IMO, matches more closely to the 928 - hence the reason I believe it’s from a 928 in using mechanism. The angle of repose of the 968 is at a greater degree of repose
Just my $0.00002 as I’m not a P expert
I want to get into cars / buildings them I love the passion people bring to the table but dang I suck at car knowledge 😂
Larry Chen in Poland there is also a replica from the movie "Taxi"
That’s a canoe Larry
That pontiac firebird had a Kobel-Predator Body Kit
17:44 Yellow plate because Kei car
I think it's time for Larry to go to an Itasha Meet in Japan
...that was actually a canoe on top of the FJ😅
3:34 osaka custom company honest.
4:41 is funny, a car Larry can't see himself driving
Is Vin there cause he's the only one I know that would drive a Raptor in Japan 😂😂😂😂🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦❤️❤️❤️
1:44 That's a canoe, dude.
6:34 Dutsun bluebrid 1800
Anyone notice almost all the cars in the that parking lot were backed IN. So uniform ✅✅
No KP61s? Sad
Itasha, means painful car. It's a pun that sounds like Italian car. So, Chen not wanting to drive an itasha anime car fulfilled its namesake.
imagine seeing your car in Larry's video
Thought u weren't supposed to shoot there plates there?
I like how everyone backs into their parking spots. when I do that here people look at me weird.
PAUSE! So I can comment on Larry's video. Throw in my 2-SENSE. I haven't seen Larry in awhile, but this Tokyo Auto Show should have some badass WHIPS. Including the "Mirror'd Subaru Impreza". Or is that a "negative"??
Should be “2 cents”. $0.02
Was that a 72 Toyota Corolla Mark II? Wow.
Canoeing not kyacking totally different lol
No they aren't.
@@samuelgarrod8327 They are about as different as a motorcycle and a sedan.
Nissan Laurel?
14min 02secs the Peugeot 406. What a cool car! Those who don't know you must google/youtube search the French film "Taxi" and watch a car chase. That's an iconic car in France lol 🇫🇷
The cars in the parking lot are more interesting than the cars in the show.
That Tundra was also not released in japan i believe. Its a North American only Toyota.
Tundra was reverse imported by Toyota for a while.
22:22 tell me you dont know the king of kei hatchbacks without telling me you never heard of suzuki alto works....that is definitely not automatic...
Maybe that unknown car is a Nissan Silvia S110 or a 810
Ma70/jza70 the real car guys supra
It’s a creep move to look inside cars
Green 93-95 honda integra siR-II pre facelift model changed due to the Japanese public disliking the design
