Larry once again thanks for taking us along on an auto show like Tokyo Auto Salon, looks like a proper JDM fest. Being here from Europe show like this is definitely bucket list event to attend :) The HKS Nissan is just awesome and the factory Toyota GR Yaris mid-engine prototype is just crazy. And Hyundai N please make diecast I20N too ;) Great video keep it up bringing us awesome content like this :)
So sick thank you for always bringing us on these amazing journey's its a dream on day to visit Japan just because the car culture is so crazy the passion 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦❤️❤️❤️
I'm pretty cheesed that the low-rider Jimny and trailer set-up that NATS built up gets ignored. The paint is immaculate and the custom work would make anyone in low rider culture pretty damn proud. They did something DIFFERENT than the usual, and they should be celebrated for it!
Other Car Brands they focused on selling EV Crossovers with Coupe, Sedan, Hatchback and Sportscar's name. While Toyota continues to create fun to drive cars in the future with a proper bodystyles(Coupe and Hatchbacks) big kudos to Toyota and Toyota Gazoo Racing 👏👏👏👏👏
The HKS GTR is absolut stunning only the Front lip is, for me, a little bit to big. The wing the color, wheels and so on what a great build. And than the EV GTR what to hell is going on 🤷in my opinion there a some cars you never do this, Lancia Delta Integrale, Audi Ur Quattro many Porsche some Mercedes like the SL Gullwing and never ever any Nissan GTR and my list never ends 🙈 I understand why they do it and the build looks good and it will works but please take other bodys to build an EV car 🙏🙏🙏 And all the other cars you show us are still awsome, i love the Japan Style so much. Thanks for showing us this the Tokyo Auto Salon from your point of view. LG from a German JDM Fan
I like those GR Yaris's, but in Denmark where I live the 2024 version is about 110k US to buy it here. Ridiculously over priced, car price+150% luxury tax = 110k.
There were over 43,000 R32 GTR’s… yes they are cool, but they aren’t THAT special that people should get upset that one is now an EV. The R32 EV got a seriously good restoration and now it can be driven in a fuel free future. I think that’s pretty damn cool.
That First Car: You wouldn't be able to drive that car without serious problems... Right? Don't you want the same horsepower to the front as you do the rear? I am clueless on twin engine setups... Thank you to whoever response to this.
I think a bunch of us are starting to realize the high truth of the hour- EV's aren't even green. So what are we even doing here. Did that whole directive come from the top down?
@@johnbecker70 so I guess the 500 tons (basically the size of a very large american house) of earth that gets excavated to make EACH single EV battery is "cleaner" than drilling for oil? What if the big oil corps were just even slightly more responsible when it comes to spill cleanup and prevention (which just costs a little extra money, wtf?). Tailpipe emissions does not equal Lifetime emissions. Battery EVs produce a massive amount of emissions during excavation, assembly, and refuse. These are disposable items, like your iphone.
@ So the oil spills in the Black Sea this year were good for the environment. As were the Deepwater Horizon and Exxon Valdez… In total, EV’s are cleaner overall than fossil fuels. Check out the Car&Drive issue that discussed the two sources. Tailpipe emissions. That’s one measure. And even then, oil is a loser. If not with particulate, then surely carcinogens.
Shows what Nissan can be . Redesign the Gtr up the HP. Fix the cvt transmission. The first gen Titan is still the best one . Fix all the issues with the cars & trucks
Bentley coupe w12 Mercedes mclaren Zonda salvage Honda turbo ll made into a 6x6 pickup with two custom-built motocampo's in the bed. Datsun 240Z made into a BMW clown shoe clone, it will work.
For the amount of coverage a gtr gets within the jdm scene, everyone in the world is now basically qualified to be an expert. Gtr coverage is getting so damn repetitive and boring
It's been common for Japanese to wear face masks for decades now, especially in winter, and especially at big public events - it's mostly about trying to avoid passing on cold & flu to other people. Different culture, different mindset. That's why you also see people cleaning up their own neighborhoods without having to be told to do it.
@ The emphasis is on harmony and consideration, and big cities like Tokyo have a massive population, so people wear masks to try and prevent spreading colds to others on the metro system or big events. It's got nothing to do with covid. Service industries like convenience store staff often wear them to imply hygiene. Doctors, dentists and nurses have been wearing face masks for more than 100 years and their lungs aren't "restricted". Some Japanese just wear masks for a sense of anonymity or women who haven't put on make up, etc. Japanese don't worry about being "oppressed" and generally have a better diet than most obese westerners cramming sugar down their mouths all day.
Doctors, dentists and nurses have been wearing face masks all day long without being "restricted". It seems to be people that don't want to be told what to do inventing reasons why masks are a problem, such as being "restrictive". By all means refuse to be told what to do, but don't mock others when you're too ignorant to know about other cultures. Japanese tend to have a much healthier diet than those who whine about face masks.
your enthusiasm is so clear on this vid , Dino! nearly caught up with the uploads 😂
I love how Tsuchia is just chilling, checking the time in full dori dori spec racesuit at TAS
I did a 'double take' at first and then had to laugh about that... He's just too iconic in that suit...

TAS always brings out super cool builds and top quality stuff! Thanks for showing us the insane builds for those who weren't able to go to Japan!
Thank you for video Larry 🙏🏻🤘🏿💙

Amazing vehicles and Amazing passion
Larry is the best!!!
Thank you Larry!
The EV R32 oem wheels revised in 18 inch are cool.
Liberty Walk classic E-Type Jaguar would be interesting?
Great coverage as always Larry 🙏🏼
Larry I know this isn't what most will relate to Alabama but we have a great new drift track here in Bryant, AL. I'm stoked to see it taking hold.
incredible stuff Larry thank you
R32 EV needs to be reverted to the RB. Love the upsized OE wheel design though.
That Yaris concept is the mule for the new Toyota MR2
Amazing ❤
Thank you Larry
That Gr mid looked like a terminator under the hood🙌
This was so exciting for me I was nerding out on all these to bad I can't buy them all. 😢

Cant wait to that HKS full option way back then i just choose HKS in engine part in most wanted PS game

It's good to know that Andrew just wants to look at GeeDeeArrrhs. 😁🤘
15:55 it doesn't sound like an R32 and any other patrol engine car. What a lame...
Wtf
LFA maybe

I like the R32 EV. Of course the RB is legendary, but so is mother earth.
Can we get Star Road to start reproducing panels for the Subaru GC8? 🤤🤤🤤
Interesting to see R34s getting made into full restomods now.

Sems, Toyota is the online Brand, who listen to what people whant
33:36 rear engine Yaris - M Concept is more than likely thenew MR2 setup!?
MR2 Test Mule
Word is they're going to call it a Celica. It's 2.0 turbo and all wheel drive, so a successor to the Celica GT Four
@ id be happy with either a MR2 or Celica with this setup!
iirc that Sera was built by the same guy that did quad turbo 2jz S14 a while ago, dude's crazy.
G20E should be the drivetrain and configuration for the new GR Celica.
I saw the testing of that R32EV
Liberty Walk should do a Mercedes 300 SL next.
Toyota has my soul ❤
Toyota > Nissan > Honda > Subaru
I've seen so many modified GTRs lately that I don't know what a stock one looks like to begin guessing power numbers.
❤👍

The US has such a boner for GTR's. Sorry guys, but they're just not that special, and absolutely not worth the prices they're going for!

GBU larry
neat
imagine a liberty walk Enzo
HKS complete car, please...
Nobody going to mention DK just casually standing there!!

Aside from enthusiasts and big oil, EV’s are a cleaner alternative to what we’ve currently got…
Just power wise instant acceleration. If you don't like it don't buy one.

So basically toyota is trying to make a Renault Clio V6 with the GR Yaris 36:05

The EV R32 is f'ing fantastic!! Subtle ingenuity.
R32 electric sounds like LFS game xd
Tell Liberty to do a fucking Yugo next that may impress me
That EV R32 is blasphemy.
opinions weigh nothing
Even the Camaro is an EV now.
@@gurunuggetjust like yours
@@aftrnoon.ac326 bingo!
I only care for the wheels 😅
The GR Corolla should of came with a 2.0litre 4cyl to start with
the R32 EV noises sound like theyre ripped right from a cheap simulator lol
It’s the Nissan Honda merge
Kudos to Toyota for channeling that R5 Turbo/205 T16 energy - most car companies just make such boring crap now.
Bentley coupe w12
Mercedes mclaren
Zonda salvage
Honda turbo ll made into a 6x6 pickup with two custom-built motocampo's in the bed.
Datsun 240Z made into a BMW clown shoe clone, it will work.
First view!
I prefer build by legend gtr than HKS r34 😂
Trump should get a deal done with Japan to where they sell us their new cars here in the US.. and put an end to the waiting 25 years crap..
I am disgusted by ev swapping where the engine is part of its identity.
Still Hilarious what GTRs are going for now, so overpriced, especially considering how many of them there are, so not worth it!
For the amount of coverage a gtr gets within the jdm scene, everyone in the world is now basically qualified to be an expert. Gtr coverage is getting so damn repetitive and boring
No one wants a electric Nissan GTR not gonna say anything else
I mean even the Camaro is an EV now… I’m not ready for the EV life personally but all car companies are releasing EVs.
Yeah you can tell Nissan is broke. Instead of building a cool new ev sports car they just throw a ev motor in a old Nissan.
Mask haha sort your head out people ❤
