I'm from Canada and I've always avoided "double denim" because I know it's called the Canadian Tuxedo! I loved it though when you broke it up with a camel blazer. All the looks were great, and as you say, very simple. I think the key is in layering and the accessories. Thanks for the great inspiration Beth!
Dont have camel blazer use what you have...it will turn out beautiful if you have a mustard blazer..red blazer they will work
I'm from Ontario and have always wondered why double denim is called the Canadian Tuxedo... but, maybe, it's because we know how to style denim on denim right, lol! Great ideas! When you said this can also be worn in Paris - we were in Paris just last month and the streets were so dirty, it’s as if they never clean their streets and sidewalks. I see why they wear lots of dark colored slacks and jeans. I took a lot of nice clothes but it was a waste. I noticed at restaurants they wouldn’t wipe down the tables between customers. I also didn’t feel safe eating salads in restaurants because of hygiene. I made salads in the apt when I washed and properly handled the raw vegetables.
Dallas is so clean compared to Paris! I wear lots of white outfits and feel clean in Dallas

Great outfits. I just got a fun, oversize-check scarf that I would add to Outfit #1. Look #2 is very Ralph Lauren, my fave American designer. I love the short leopard jacket and am going to look fir a less expensive version.
Ralph Lauren is my favorite too. I loved leather jacket too, but are the outfitswere lovely.
