1:48 I know they’re all meant to be the same species but I’m 100% positive that that’s Roger in the baseball cap. That’s literally his character design.
His singing is, unexpectedly transcendent. Downside, I can’t make out all the words, so I’m not sure what he’s trying to say. I think the point is that people fall deeply in love, freed from the darkness of being alone, but when the delve deeper into the relationship, they find there was nothing there in the first place.
The song ironically, is about nothing! it’s all up to the listeners interpretation. “We are obsessed with finding meaning and the band holds up a mirror to the listener wherein we inject our own meaning. Even when they tell us it means nothing and there isn’t a point beyond being a reflective experience in and of itself, we still look for a bigger point. As much as you try I don't think you will ever find a single problem with this whole episode. Says a lot as was not staring any of the smiths. At the time Jeff was married to hayley but still a recurring character and not essential to the show. So when I heard about this episode I was dreading watching it. But I loved that I was left with egg on my face. As this episode for me is perfect in every possible way. I especially love all the designs on the aliens on the spaceship. Especially Rogers species love the little detail to everyone of them.
I love how he connects to audio and video cords
“ If you’re searching the lines for a point
Well, you’ve probably missed it
There was never anything there
In the first place”
This song snd episode are both just pure bangers. 🔥
“I’d rather be dreaming of someone, than living alone” that line sums up like 90% of my failed relationships lol
I feel like it should had been a movie.
WAX FANG!!!!!!
This episode hit me deep. . .
This was a hell of a thing to wake up to RUclips autoplay while suffering the delirium of a fever.
1:48 I know they’re all meant to be the same species but I’m 100% positive that that’s Roger in the baseball cap. That’s literally his character design.
Eehhhh , there at least one modified detail with the design
hes got a huge adams apple compared to roger
There are at least two identical guys.
I don't know what it is about this episode and song but this scene has always stuck with me since i first saw it years ago.
I love how this show goes so hard with the music when it doesn't have to at all. much like bob's burgers.
This is probably one of the best songs I've ever heard
Fully agree
I'm an old man and I agree. It makes me think about a lot of Elton John's works. That's a hard sound to imitate, and the artist nails it so hard!
Thank you American Dad for introducing me to wax fang
Such a good song I'm glad I discovered it on American Dad all them years ago ❤
Thanks, American Dad, for introducing me to Waf Fang!
So we all loved this song huh
The first time I heard this song I got chills and I still do
I think it's instrumental part
I'm being one hundred percent truthful when I say I would totally listen to this song
It is a real song, the band is Wax Fang
Those DRUM fills are just straight 🔥FIRE!!!!
PURE ART
2021 and this still goes hard asf
Any attempt to glean more is missing the point entirely.”
@@itsrie4807 Huh, possible ironic twist, nice.
Awesome song...
Hands down one of the best American dad songs
Fun Fact: The voice of Emperor Zing, Michael McKean, is the new voice of Grandpa Lou Pickles in the new Rugrats.
Chuck McGill from Better Call Saul!
Pilot angel dust
@@rosethepinkhairedsaiyan769 No, that's Michael Kovach you're thinking of.
@@dillonwright13 oh thanks
This song is awesome
I only clicked because I thought I was looking at a World of Warcraft raid boss. I don't regret my mistake, that was an awesome song.
"Sorry this songs really popular here"
Anybody else vibing out to that song ?
FAMILY GUY COULD NEVER
"A sight for sore eyes, to the blind would be awful majestic"
What an opener 🔥
I'm such a Wax Fang fan boy, thanks American Dad.
I cannot believe this made me tear up lmao
Most rawest moment in cartoon history
Being stoned watching this was a major "stuck" moment
What makes this episode awesome is that it still works when you’re not stoned.
American dad always has lesser known bangers. Wax fang is the shit
That burn at the end tho
this scene is a good way to portray how you can never see the blessings you have. too bad its a lesion that cant be learned until you live it.
Something about this song the words, the voice, the delivery just starts to stir emotions when I hear it
Thank you....just thank you AD.
someone so ugly having a beautiful voice that could make the coldest of hearts melt
This was like 6 years prior to Rick & Morty.
Wax Fang and My Morning Jacket: Two bands I can thank American Dad for introducing me to.
Almost 10 years is crazy😢🎉
This song is absolutely beautiful 🤩
Best episode of the series.
