((:
i would just like to thank doctor mike for helping me deal with my hyperhydrosis because after learning from this video about sweat glands and stress sweating which NO previous doctor on the internet or not has bothered to try to explain. practically all of the smell and amount of sweat is under control now.
I have had bad migraines for YEARS and never had a scan or anything. Doctors always just said it was stress. I had very simple blood work done once and I don't even remember them telling me anything about it. Migraines are a REAL disability
Yes it is, my obgyn said if I wanted to take birth control pills he couldnt do it as for usual patient because this condition interacts with these meds (some forms of bc are ok but it has to be discussed with doctor)
Same. I’ve had terrible unilateral migraines since I was a teenager, sometimes 2-3 per week. I was never offered any scans or any more significant diagnosis efforts. I was finally diagnosed with lupus last year which MIGHT be the cause of those (and other symptoms). This was after going to my gp and insisting on specific bloodwork and a referral to a rheumatologist. It’s still going to be a long process but it’s nice to have some direction. One thing I have learned through multiple experiences like this, is sometimes you need to (politely) TELL the doctor what scans/tests you want to have done. If they refuse, go to someone else - a good doctor will work with you to help solve things and not just write you off. It’s really not their fault, most doctors really care and want the best for their patients, but usually they are working off of a tiny snapshot of your experience. I started keeping a symptoms journal in the notes app in my phone with dates/length of time/severity/ patterns/photos and that made a big difference. The more data you can give the doctor, the better they will be able to help.

When it comes to the chlorophyll, my mom went through one of those really intense natural medicine stages, and would give me some mixed with water on a regular basis. I remember that it tasted really pleasant, with a mild sweet taste, and it didn't change the texture of the water. And I was a teenager, so I don't remember having any benefits. But really, unless I just got lucky with the mixtures we got, 10/10 would drink it if it had health benefits.
Hey Dr. Mike! At 66 years old I first time went to a dermatologist for a checkup. Had one mole removed. It was on my lower back and I didn't know it was there. Waiting for lab results. It took 6 weeks to get the appointment. At 66 I was probably the youngest patient in the waiting room.
In Denmark the education as a physical therapist actually uses the last clip in text books. We are taught that inactivity at a healthy wieght is "less healthy" than being overweight (BMI 25 - 30) and highly, notice "highly" active, and it is expressed through life expentency.
I love how that one guy jumps almost exactly onto the spot where the branch lands despite it probably missing him if he stayed where he was. Of course he couldn't have known that, but its still funny.
9:47 no joke, I once had a migraine that would not go away, I became desperate for pain relief and looked up a massage on RUclips and finally found one that worked for me. 1:14 When I was young, I went miniature golfing, and got a hole-in-one. I got so excited that I was running around yelling, 'I got a hole-in-one!' My brother inadvertently slung his club over his shoulder and hit me in the head.
12:33 Seeds and nuts does make me poop quite effectively, but the amount I have to eat them before it happens is not good. And it doesn't happen due to some healthy benefits in the digestion system. It happens due to stomach not being able to churn through all the seeds and nuts.
Re: the electrolyte/chia thing - it's just being hydrated that helps with constipation, the other parts are hokus pokus. Actual "life hack": When you're dehydrated your body starts rationing water and keeping your bowels moving is less of a priority than keeping your blood flowing (among other immediately life threatening effects from dehydration). Staying well hydrated is also a great way to help getting over short term diarhea (like from disagreeable food) quickly, your body will use the extra water to help flush your intestines.
We give patients with halitosis and patienst with complex wounds Chlorophyll tablets (Stozzon) to reduce the smell and most of the time it works wonders. Chlorophyll seems to be able to inactivate some enzyme activities that are responsible for body odors and halitosis. Of course they only help with the symptom of smelling not with the cause. But they helped us making the caring for people especially with ulcers less stressful for both sides. Of course odors are an important symptom when caring for wounds. 4:20

lol 10:45 I have some of that stuff we were going to try for youtube before the crown. It's a substance that oozes out of the rocks of mountains... and people eat it... I believe it comes from plant roots that are squeezed over winter from the rocks contracting, in the spring the rocks defrost and open up, letting the plant tar seep out.
Those ads as seen at the 10:40 second mark I find are increasingly present on RUclips. They are generally voiced over by AI and seem overly concerned about RUclipsrs having to deal with foot fungus and other ailments. I find they are completely ridiculous. Personally, I’d rather go see a doctor if I have foot fungus than to listen to “recommendations” from these ads that seem completely made up. Unfortunately, many people believe anything they hear on the Internet so I’m glad there are people like Dr. Mike, who can clear up any medical misinformation circulating on social media.
4:30 Wait, that's technically also what happens when you have actual farts... Which means that proclaiming "it wasn't me" after clearing the room with a deadly one is technically true.

btw i’ve always loved medicine and i wanted to be a neurosurgeon when i was younger but i have a learning disability in math so big big med school is off the table for me. i chose phlebotomy cus its interesting and it’s a good dip in the medical field without 10000 years of schooling. i also think taking blood is gonna be fun so i’m excited for that ! it’s so fun to come watch new and rewatch older videos of yours because i’ll recognize terms or disorders i’ve been studying and it’s a cool callback !! ((:
i would just like to thank doctor mike for helping me deal with my hyperhydrosis because after learning from this video about sweat glands and stress sweating which NO previous doctor on the internet or not has bothered to try to explain. practically all of the smell and amount of sweat is under control now.
God and Jesus love you
I have had bad migraines for YEARS and never had a scan or anything.
The more data you can give the doctor, the better they will be able to help.
i love how long it takes mike to get jokes 😂
I still don't get it😢

thanks so much for getting straight into the video, that’s why you’re one of the best youtubers

Oh dear! I hope all turns out well for you. Skin cancer chances run high in my family

I the migraine went away about ten minutes after i did it and did it daily for five days until it went away. I was pregnant and nothing was working until o found the video. I cried from the relief.

Actual "life hack":
When you're dehydrated your body starts rationing water and keeping your bowels moving is less of a priority than keeping your blood flowing (among other immediately life threatening effects from dehydration).
Staying well hydrated is also a great way to help getting over short term diarhea (like from disagreeable food) quickly, your body will use the extra water to help flush your intestines.
*gasp
"why?! scrotal trauma!"🤣

5:12 When Michael Bisping choked out Steve-O, the placement of his arm was actually not very good, making it more dangerous. The inside of his elbow should ideally line up in front of the trachea so that the pressure from his squeeze goes on those side arteries and not the windpipe, like you mentioned. Bisping's forearm was over the windpipe.
