You taught me basically everything thing I know like how to drive manual and about jdms. U made me finally find something I’m passionate about!!!
Here is a uncommonly known K Series Tip. K24s cannot rev as high as a K20. Maybe if it's build it potentially could. But if you want TQ.. Get a K24, if you want to rev to the moon.. Get a K20.
A common upgrade for k24's is a oil pump from a rsx type s. With that you can rev the car to 8200rpm, some people set it to 8500 but I wouldn't trust the rod bolts
@@joeygonzalez2601 Yeah the motor itself can't handle such high rpm even with the oil pump. It isn't designed to rev that high. a k24 revving to 7600 has the same load as a k20 revving to 8600 OR something of that nature.
I get what you're saying but the reason why a k20 can rev that high compared to a k24 is simply because the head is more efficient than a k24's head, not because the motor can't handle reving that high. The k24a/a2 has a very efficient flowing head and there are many builds that make 210-220whp reving past 8k, with simple bolt ons and a type-s oil pump. The bottom end of a k24 is very stout, the oil pump is just not made for that high oil pressure.

Hey Evan, I've been going through some tough times lately with stress, and as I was listening to your inspirational statement at the end, I thought to myself, "he should make an inspirational video channel". You can just snip the end of your videos out and generate new ones that are a few minutes long as a daily advise type video to get people through the tough times. It'd also be a good place if you're really down to just get overloaded by all of the inspiration that you give daily!
I have been a part of the Honda gang for years, but negative camber never looks good- makes a car look like something is broken. That being said, I’m excited to see how this Honda turns out. Nice & clean!
The tow arms are located at the front of the rear trailing arms, those are the rear upper control arms, or camber arms

Donut media tested those eBay coilovers, they work good for the price but they are not the real deal.
It really depends on the brand. Maxspeeding rods and raceland aren't the same
I actually have maxpeeding rods on my car. They are actually really good quality but take a bit of adjusting to get them riding smooth. I have daily driven for only 6 months so far with it low so some things can happen in the months to come but so far they have been really good to me. Dont get me wrong if u have the money to do so then definitely go for more expensive higher quality ones

I went cheap with my lexus awhile ago. Im never doing that again, it just wasnt worth it. Im replacing all the junk parts on the car with quality engineered parts because i actually intend on driving the car.

Can you put a small video together on how you did you research? You did mention there is so many resources available to us but how can we tell which resources are valid and which ones we should ignore. Like is there a starting point on where you start? I tend to have a hard time figuring it out and it tends to waste my time.

I have a ek hatch with Ebay coils and 15×8s with huge offset and I bought it for less than 400 bucks. All the parts I purchased have been at a cap of 200 dollars and it's been a blast to just mess with! When your not a die hard honda boi and you just do it for fun/lolz it's so much more enjoyable
Please evan dont install that rear camber kit, those bushings are trash they will sound and squeak alot!!!! I havent even completed the video, if u do install them take them off, go for skunk 2 that "control arm" is actually a camber kit!
X2 my rear camber kit is identical and they are so damn squeaky it drives me crazy

im pretty sure you know this but i work at a tire shop and i do alignments, you are supposed to wait 1-2 weeks after dailying the car to get an alignment and THEN do all the fender pulling and and all that, but if you already know then keep up the cool vids lol welcome to the honda life

I picked up a hatchback a few months ago and it came with some 15x8 +25 JNC wheels, the fitment was nice but my god was it the ugliest design they offered. GL on the build Evan!
You need to put two window units in your garage. Then you wont have any problem with the heat anymore. Trust me I know it's hot I live in Louisiana
Man you have that lift and all, it's somewhat harder to put coil overs on the civic with a hand jack

Achilies ATR do NOT handle much power before they let go. I ran them for a bit. Not bad for cheap tires for drift or low powered daily

Those lca bushing will die soon and the rear camber kit. Over here we have a lot of potholes and they last about a year for me. I bought the skunk 2 bushings in replacement they fit perfect and are prolly better
