- The reason why I didn't listen to anybody and decided to get a 2008 Kawasaki Ninja ZX6R for my first motorcycle... Its nice and simple really and at the end of the day people are going to do what they want anyway no matter what they are told so my message through this channel will be to advise people on whats best but at the end of the day just support them and prepare them as much as possible with a positive approach so that way they can be as ready as possible and minimize their chance of having an accident. BUT, with that being said, if your starting on a 600cc motorcycle then be ready to come off at some point lol if your not ready to come off then your definitely not ready for a 600 anyway. There is so much power there and such little room for error then one little mistake and you will be sideways haha anyway, thanks for watching the video... I hope you enjoyed it! The video of you riding your bike for the first time gives me hella confidence because i live in such an open road area (if that makes sense) . instead of cars being parked all over the road like that and such narrow streets etc.

I bought my first bike 3 weeks ago the 2008 zx6r, I was gonna get the zx12r or zx10r but they don't look better than the 2008 zx6r so I chose, I been watching tutorials for over 5 months then I felt 100 percent confident & just knew I can ride this monster, I rode it home after I bought it, wasn't nervous at all I knew exactly what to do when I got on it, got home safe with no problem like I been riding for years, when I ride my zx6r I feel like I'm the lion and these cars & trucks are just beneath me cant hang with me im faster and swift I pull up all eyes on me it feels amazing,

I've been riding for years, and the 08 Zx6r is still my dream bike I am still trying to get. I just haven't found one in the condition I am looking for for the price. The reason why I love this bike is because of its curves specifically the cowl and because it's the last model with rear exhaust.
Yeh man soon as I see this bike I wanted it and still love it the same as when I first got it! Thhink the only time I will change this bike is when I can afford to own a 899 panigale and have the experience/confidence for it cause theyre pricey!!!! haha and yeh your get a zx6r soon enough the right one will pop up! I'm in the same situation you were, I'm about to start bike training and got my eyes on the zx6r, was looking at a ninja 650 too but the zx6r is such a sexy bike.
its a great bike! if you want my advice go get a mt07 or the ninja 650, you will learn so much more and be able to bring it over to a 600, but i didnt listen to anyoine haha you can see my journey on my channel and how much my riding improved through each bike, you will learn 100x more on something more comfortable with less power
@@TARZANMotoVlogs the Ninja 650 was my initial choice, still a ninja just a little more tame. its early days at the moment, got my theory in a couple of weeks and then i can start learning, i had a CBT about 20 years ago and spent a year or so on a 125 so i have a little biking knowledge in there somewhere, hopefully pick it back up quite quickly, I'm not looking for crazy speed but who doesn't want some power on a bike though right. I'ev watched a few of your vids and that initial ride on the ZX6R did look a little scary. Thanks for the advice tho man, appreciate it
Alsways wanted a ninja, so last week browsed my local marketplace website. Found one i instantly to my liking. 32k kms 1997 for 1800€ i got that same feeling. Safe travels mate!

Brilliant this is my thing I havnt even started my training yet and I already know I want the ninja zx6r always been big fan of bikes when my brother passed mods 1 &2 many years ago he got the zxr750 he loved it and I have always had a passion for the zx6r so this is to be my dream bike once I have done my mods love the style and look of them looked at other bikes my mate has gsxr 600 he loves it but none of the other 600s are doing it fir me but I either want the green or orange but they ain’t cheap in them period colours

Dude you're exactly like me. Haven't got my license yet (corona times kinda delaying it) and I've got the motorcycle virus so I'm looking at motorcycles to buy and after browsing a bit the first thing I absolutely fell in love with was the Kawi Ninja.. both 650 (or ER6-F, the previous) and ZX-6R.. Especially in all black.. it's like a spaceship mated with a motorcycle and that's their baby. Thanks for sharing this because I'm definitely gonna get it after hearing your story. I'm curious though, what did you pay for it and how many km's did it have? Cheers

Im uk and I payed around 3500 for mine with 20k miles and 3 previous owners bike was completely stock and well looked after and i love it just as much if not even more now than when i got it its such a nice bike and looks so slick lol

I can get a 08 model for around 5000 but 40k km's... But it's fucking beautiful man, so just for the looks it's worth it. How is the bike in the comfort area? How long can you ride it before you get sore or painful? I know they ain't made for comfort, but being able to tour for half a day once in a while would be great of course. I will keep you updated man, as soon as this fucking virus clears up I'm gonna get it asap. And if it doesn't clear up, I'm gonna buy it anyway and have my mate teach me lol.

I just took 4 years off riding after having a bad crash on my GSXR750. I went with a 2014 zx6r and couldn’t be happier. Such a good and fun bike that’s also not too hard on the eyes 😍

I had (i and i still have this bike at my home,) i was riding this for almost 2 years without issues. One day with friends, i was going to fast, trying to get close to them. But for my bad luck I didn't have the experience that i thought i have. So. In a big turn i get up to 200kmh and i had a bad side crash on railings of the road. But for my good luck also, i didn't hurt much ,dont even broke any bone! Just some stiches in my fingers and in one of my knees . Im pretty sad about this situation, but im trying to save some money and if it fixible i will make it even better than before. This bike was also my dream bike. And i can't even imagine to sale it just for little money, than to make it again like new one! Guys.. These motorcycles aren't just for fun! The speed that you can reach, is insane! Please!! Be careful!! And stay safe! I hope to all of you happy travels! :)

These bikes are no jokes and as you’ve just said, it’s easy to get comfortable after a while and think you can ride, but you have to keep a beginner mind set and continue learning all the time practicing things regularly

Omg loved this , I just brought one, went from ninja 400 to zx6r holy crap !!!like it doesn't wanna turn lol i have only ridden it twice as we are in lockdown with the coronavirus but shit it was hard to turn..fast as fuk ..had it at 155 on my 2nd ride but dam I'm still having problems with the smalls turns grrr ..did track days on the 400 and now I have this its gonna be a long time to get used to it...so dam different..but loved watching your video I laughed as it is me . 🏍🏍

These bike were defiantly not made for getting to work and back haha iif you dont already, then practice dragging your rear break on your slow manoeuvres this will help you a lot i promise 👊

I got a good deal recently buying a 06 zx6r with only 14000 miles 5 inch extended and lowered for 2800 love it better than my 09 ninja 650

Zx6r is my dream bike. I just recently bought the ninja 400 but only reason was because I couldn't afford the payments for the zx6r but I really wanted to ride so I got the 400 and paying like 180 monthly including full coverage insurance which is pretty good for me right now. But after I finish paying this bike off and build better credit I'm gna sale it use what I get for down payment and with the better credit score I'll get better payments on the zx6r. Hopefully by next year I'll have it but I've been in love and wanting the zxr6 since I 1st laid eyes on it in 2016.
A ninja 400 will do you good man 400cc is more than enough power to have fun on, more time i just like cutting through town and filtering through traffic lol I literally only just started playing around with the power band now after owning the bike for 6 months but I will say you will love it when you get it! haha itl be worth the wait like ou earned it your going through the levels the right way man I always say to people who dont want to start on a 125 because they think its a small bike that you wouldnt just skip to the last lord of the rings movie and watch that cause youd have no idea whats going on instead you watch number 1 then 2 then the 3rd so its like starting on a 125 then going to like a 400 then going up to a 600+ but yeh like you said I fell in love immediatly haha i jst knew it was the one i wanted and no one was guna tell me otherwise

@@TARZANMotoVlogs for me anything under 400 is too small. I rode bicycles when I was a kid and own manual transmission cars so getting on a motorcycle I was able to pick it up real quick. Msf passed it with flying colors. I'm babying my 400 for now so when I go to sale it I'll get the most I can for it. I'm even trying to keep the miles under 3k when I sale it also. Put a few things into the bike but I'm limiting it till I get the 636 then I'll do all the mods I can do to it. But for now I do enjoy my 400 and use w.e excuse to go out and ride her lol

It is a goid bike. It will run you a long time just do you maintenance, watch your braking, and tires.

I took a step back to a mt07 now got a husky 701 now I’m selling it and getting a mt10 haha end goal is a 2015+ r1 and a 2014+ smcr690 for second bike
I had way more fun on the mt07 and learned so much more

Im checking out an 09 ZX6R today as a first bike, it’s been my dream bike since forever! Im just kinda nervous taking the dudes bike for a spin, even though I’ve rode other street bikes and such

How old were you when you bought your zx6r as your first bike?
24 so I done my full license straight away wish I got a supermoto tho hahaha
How is the riding position for long trips. Let's say a 3 hour ride?
If your used to being in such an aggressive riding position its not o bad just take a 5/10 min break once or twice... If your not used to it then you will feel it in your legs, wrists and maybe your back but you just gotta move about a bit. Sit at the front of the seat then chage to move back a little chnage your feet from toes to heels etc go from resting on your arms more to using more of your legs and relaxing your arms/wrists. It would be cool to have cruise control lol with all that being said I love riding it and ive never had a problem other than one time i remmeber when i first got it my legs were aching like mad when i stopped felt like i just done legg day at the gym had to sit down and stretch for ten mins lol thanks for watching man👊
It is better than other 600cc, but 3 hours seems a bit too much. I can't withstand more than 40-50min without getting tired

ok this is fucking funny, i never had a bike before, but yesterday, for some reason i saw a picture of a zxr6r from 2007 and i fucking fell in love with that...the guy is trying to sell that bike and i'm really close to go and buy it, but i decided to open yt and find a good reason to buy this kawa...and i found this, a guy who's telling his story, that looks exactly like what i'm about to do...i mean, is there anything else i need to know to understand that's going to be the best bike i can buy? hahahajaj
Hahah thanks man👊 I loved this bike! I’m currently on a Yamaha mt-07 right now and hopefully buying another super in the next couple months! The Zx6r was so much fun but if you have never been on a bike before you got to be ready!!!! Haha it will be tough to learn on but seen me do it no previous riding experience at all so if that’s the bike you want then go get it! Check out some of my recent videos on the mt-07 see if you like the look of that because it’s a lot more beginner friendly and soooo much fun haha keep me updated man I’d like to hear how you get on!
