Do you notice a difference on midnight club LA? In the video, it keeps a steady 30 fps, but I recall it being relatively stable before too -- any thoughts?
Well, i don't really think so. On a original fw, it's kinda not hold up the 30fps whatsoever. But when i overclocked it, it holds the fps pretty good. But the results may vary.
@@beijingcornindustries33 Yo can usa IC graphite thermalpad to nerver repaste again . I added a 4mm thermalpad 15.5 kw from Thermalright under the square that is on the reverse of the CPU and now is more cooler than ever.

Had issues with YLOD (not hardware based) after the overclock. My CECHJ03 PS3 will error when trying to show the Core clock and enabling FPS will result in a freeze after 10-15 second followed by a YLOD. After a database rebuild the problem is fixed and will run any game with the OC but after turning off or restarting the console the YLOD issue comes back. Any one else had any similar issues?
im not an expert or anything but i think this is just to improve graphics or smth? cuz the cpu been the same before and after the update there's a one frame improvement though

I did . It improves a litle but if you want the best out of a ps3 here is the best option . Get a smal 1080p screen monitor. Install OC evilnat Buy the mClassic On the ps3 settings adjust the resolution to 576P only. Enjoy

I hate evilant is bugged also on how model you tested overclock fat or slim? btw I will test overclock too I mean some games: battlefiled4, nfs undercover, minecraft (some tnt explosives) and maybe some games that have unlocked fps idk how games it was. Also is good idea to test ac III and liberation HD these games used a lot of from ps3 and framerate in combat was 20-15fps... for now I waiting for my ps3 fat CECHL04. And is possible to make overclocked firmware by myself? and now you see cpu and gpu clock with webman? on ps3 superslim I not see that.

Have you tried like, yk common troubleshooting for that? Like change the capacitor to tantalum, and repaste, inside out?
Replace the capacitor or reball both GPU and cpu

no bro, overclock is not about improving graphics, it's just increasing the clock speed higher than the factory clockspeed, to improve performance.
You should use Metal gear rising for benchmarking, it can reach 60 fps

you can use webman mod to control your fan speed.
