A bionic hand is not the same as your natural hand. One big difference is that most of them are not permanently attached. I think there are some that involve fusing a rod to the bones, and some have sensors that can sort of give a sense of touch and feeling. Sort of. The electronics are connected to nerves. But it's still not like your natural hand. If there was something that you needed to pull yourself up on, pulling the entire weight of your body, you probably couldn't do that. You wouldn't want to risk pulling the bionic hand loose. The therapy and training to learn to use a bionic hand is pretty extensive, perhaps taking a year or two. Such a facility for that kind of procedure could be a long way from where some people live. There are a good number of YT videos on the subject. You should take a look at them.
Going over transplantation experience has great psychological and physiological impact on the recipient. You always feel you are indebted to a person who never knew who you were and you know live only because he has lost his/her life. That’s why being a donor is such a noble cause. Assalam Alaikum
