The rookie acting like ray lewis dancing had me in tears 😂
All the skits had me rolling 😂😂😂😂
That shannon sharpe impression was SPOT ON
I rewound it so many times. The head nod when he said "Yes, yes we have." absolutely killed me. He nailed Sharpe's mannerisms.
I was crying laughing 😭🤣😭😭🤣
Yeah it was. ;)
I almost died 😂😂😂😂
Patrick Slingo- What impersonation if Shannon Sharpe are you talking about?...
Where is it at, exactly?...
I think it’s funny how this was recorded 16 years ago and I still wonder whats gonna happen next
Kyle Bezner 01 wasn’t 16 years ago dude
Michael Hawkins it was only 1 off
Who’d have thought a young rookie TE named Todd Heap would go on to be a kiddy killer.
Kyle Bezner I can totally relate
strangewayshere oooof
What I liked was how Billick doesn't sit behind a desk when he has to cut a player. He's more humane with his approach.
45:07 when they played that music made my eyes water because they were so close to be on a NFL team and the way he said it very respectfully
That ugly contest and the rookie talent had me in tears
Fr
One of the rawest seasons of Hard Knocks ever. Absolutely loved this episode
Tony Siragusa slipping that bill under his legs was slick hahahaha 3:15
Lmao i saw that too
lol he did that just because of the cameras
Goose wouldn't last in this era of nfl
Brayan Santos How?
Brayan Santos he’s too raw
7:01 Ray Lewis looking like he needs to add this to his pre-game
He took that COMPLETELY seriously lol
That connected to him in an extreme way, that face lol
Ray Lewis lookin at the tribal guy thinkin, “hmm.”
Edwin Mulitalo, and yes, you could tell Ray admires warrior cultures.
That first guy that the second place ugly guy pointed out looked legit pissed he was chosen as one of the five uglier than him lmao
i noticed that too i think there was some beef there or something. Ive seen that look before lol
Yea I saw that and everyone else laughed. It definitely had to be a tension or beef between them
I swear lol it was like he wanted to punch him
It was the back up at his position who he beat out to make the team funny u guys noticed the pressure was built in that relationship lol
Yea he was HEATED 🔥😭🤣🤣🤣🤣
Ray Lewis felt that war chant in his soul at 7:04
Imagine teams doing a "Team Ugly" these days? ESPN would do an E:60 on how it negatively effects players psychologically
Joseph Caronna lmao 😂
Yoooo😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Minnesota does it, look it up
I hate espn, ive boycotted them for years now, except oh except for ufc and that fucking espn+ which is a crock but i have to subscribe for ppv purposes. Fuck espn
LMMFAO🤣🤣🤣🤣 FACTS
The Cleveland Browns hard knocks is TERRRIBLE compared to this masterpiece of characters. Even the equipment manager has more character than all of the browns.
well obviously this team had amazing personality
Two totally polar opposite organizations though
The way of the world nowadays. A bunch of uptight people.
Best part of browns hard knocks was the o-line coach
😂😂😂😂😂
Going back & watching all the episodes from this season after hearing that Tony "The Goose" Siragusa, Sr. passed away, last week.
I still can't believe that he's gone.
R.I.P., Tony "The Goose" Siragusa, Sr.!...
For the first time in Hard Knocks history I genuinely laughed at a lot of stuff in this series.
Kenny jackson is too big to be scared to tackle
Can we also give Todd Heap major props for not playing with any gloves.
Steve Largent played his whole career without any gloves and became a hall of famer.
Jamal Lewis also didn’t wear gloves
Old school
Wow. Blast from the past. Marvin Lewis, Rex Ryan and Jack Del Rio... Plus another one I saw. All these guys went on in NFL to be head coaches. Crazy to look back and see they once coached all on the same team. What a solid coaching staff dude! Also wild to see Todd Heap as a rookie. Went on to be one of the best tight ends in Ravens history....then Tim Hassleback and Shannon Sharpe. Both analysts and fantasy coaches on ESPN. I'm just blown away watching this episode of Hard Knocks.
Sharpe on fs1
Heap was THE BEST TE in Ravens history, IMHO. Andrews may change that though.
@@HoustonIsImmortal He will .....😀!
Mike Smith and Mike Nolan, later head coaches of the Falcons and 49ers.
The talent show ❤️ No phones. No Instagram live. No TikTok. Just all living in the moment, miss those times!
Ahhh 2001 simpler times.
@@phillyfan-182
this was right before 9/11 to. it truly was a different time
@@imnotyourfriendbuddy1883 I was in elementary school back then
I miss the early 2000s
19:08.
You know something is up when 3 Hall of Famers are standing together in training camp showing random props.
Shannon Sharpe is never going to change lol, love 💯
This has got to be one of the funniest hard knocks ever. Especially when Tim got Shannon with that act.
Back when hazing and humiliation brought a team together....lol
16:39 Shannon impression 😂
7:16 _HUMUNGA MUNGA MUNGA MUNGA MUNGA_
GETS ME HYPE! Ray Lewis 2.0
I love being a ravens fan! This is when the tradition was fresh and in place which set the tone for many years to come!!!
Damn I just realized how great this coaching stuff was.rex Ryan, Marvin Lewis, Jack del rio like damn
Fr
It's still shocking to me that a guy like Tony Siragusa had a long and successful NFL career. God bless the man.
Why's it shocking?
@@3rdcoastobs467 You're a fuckin moron if you actually believe that bullshit you typed.
The greatest one period..No Jard Knocks has been better so far..so much authentic personalities out there
Siragusa didn't even get nominated for King Ugly!!!
Would have just eaten who ever nominated him lol
Goes without saying lol
He would have made it a point to get who ever got him lol
They scared oh his ass
Slappy McGillicuddy it’s a no contest thats why
6:50 when you spazz out. Ray Lewis really reading into it like there’s some deep meaning.
It's his tribal warriors native dance and it does have tremendous meaning to Edwin and his people.
This sequence at 28:48-29:20 where the camera switches to the ravens taking the field, to Rey getting pumped, and then a hard zoom on the red raven eyes on the jumbo-tron was so good, hella chills.
That Shannon sharpe imitation was perfect!!!!
Shoulda just put the whole Sharpe impression in the show. That was absolute gold.
Watching the cuts in Hard Knocks always gets me in tears
5:04 coach was bout to fire that man on the spot lol
Very organic and natural feeling. Funny af!!! ...
Good old days man when everything was fun to watch
I love that Billick sees everything in terms of football, even fun stuff. It’s a good way to look at it, but kind of funny
The amount of outstanding Colts and Ravens that practiced twice a day in the heat of July and August on that field is beyond belief. I go out there sometimes just to feel the greatness that was once there. RIP Goose
Awesome seeing a veteran like Shannon Sharpe helping Todd Heap back in the day. Lots of talent between those two over the years.....
Tell me why ray lewis lookin like ski mask the slump god wit that du-rag 😂
APK Savage Yo, for real.
You mean ski mask looks like a young ray lewis with a durag
@@spin-cthrowshands5553 ski mask look like sid from ice age with a du rag on
😂😂😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂
This is still the best season and I’m a Steelers fan
Mad respect,Pitt fans. I hate y'all, and I love y'all...😜
Same😂
This was before the division change though but we are looking at something old so😂
It’s funny how some of the cussing is censored while other times they didn’t even bother
I was waiting for someone else to notice
Lmao right
I remember watching this one on TV I was laughing so hard at that Shannon Sharpe imitation
This is what I look forward to during the week😂
This segment is awesome . Glad the ravens got that comradeship back. Close team a dangerous team
28:30 - 29:20 Ray Lewis had a true passion and love for the game. True passion for whatever he was involved in.
I swear, Ray Lewis be getting me pumped up, man. 29:02.
Todd Heap knowing what he was supposed to do, and the QB Grbac not.. a little bit of foreshadowing there
Shannon back in there with Ray Lewis dying laughing 😭
This was the best talent show of all of the seasons of Hard Knocks 🤣🤣🤣🤣.
30:43 should have been a warning sign to Ravens fans. The rookie Todd Heap is calmly asking what happened while the veteran Elvis Grbac is losing his shit over what turned out to be nothing. Elvis may have been calm off the field but he showed a real lack of gameday.
Elvis Grbac was a terrible QB for this particular team. The only reason why the Ravens was off his only Pro Bowl season in Kansas City. Maybe they should have stayed with Trent Dilfer, or find someone better. Grbac had the worst season of his career and retired afterwards.
Although the injury to Jamal Lewis was the straw that broke the Ravens back because they had nobody who could replace his elite production.
That’s why Elvis retired after that season
Yo, why that dude look mad AF when they pointed to him being number 1 ugly?? 😂.
Who kinda wouldn't?!😭
Hey NFL Vault! I remember a NFL Films Presents episode about Holmgrens Coaching tree - Now with Jon Gruden back, I would love to see that episode again!
Legendary footage
The Rookie Talent Show 💀💀💀 especially The Shannon Sharpe and Ray Lewis impersonation 🤣
King Ugly would be considered harrassment in 2019 NFL.
Fr 😂😂😂
And the karaoke at the bar was funny too...
around 23:30... makes wanna grow up in 2001/90s, ppl looked so much happier then
And the ice tub pranks 😂
Cold tub 😂
That guy nailed Ray Lewis😂
Talent show had me DEAD
That Rookie Talent show deserves a spot in Canton
Hard knocks slapped different back then. Rookie talent show was fire
This was the best Hard Knocks ever
the haka..awesome..
Ray Lewis was a killer linebacker for years.
6:19 same face expression as he had at rays hof speech! :D
What an epic coaching staff. Lewis del Rio Ryan prob some other ones that went on to have their own teams
4:18 I can feel heat through this here screen😂😂🔥
Just went back and watch the most hilarious funnymomemnt ravens first time watching it I can't get past Shannon shop and Ray Lewis keep repeating 😂😂😂😂
The coaching staff was like that all great coaches
Had to come back to see this. Rest peacefully Siragusa, Sharpe still wants his restitution 🤣🙏🏾🕊
And a couple months later the Twin Towers fell and over 3k people died , the world seemed so innocent here
You mean about two weeks later.
It was an inside job.
LOLOL the world was never innocent but yeah i know the feeling your feelings its like any thing during 2001 before 9/11 ESPECIALLY in the months of July and August you can really feel the impending doom
A little under 3k actually
@@squatsoats2144 you're definitely right and it's sad not to many people believe it
This is the best episode ive seen
The Edwin mulitalo dance was awesome
“The lady across the bar has two teeth 😭”
All the future head coaches on that defensive staff lol
The 30 for 30 they do on this team someday will be beyond epic
"I told Brian yesterday" 🤣🤣 Still the best Hard Knocks. Rest in peace Goose
Man watching these guys was fun to watch even the guys who didn't make the 53 man roster still a fun experience but heartbreaking at da same time letting them go
Amazing how times have changed imagine this on hbo now people would be outraged lol!!
Have you ever watched any series on HBO? Only network where you can see boobs and sesame street on the same network.
What’s better than this ? Guys being dudes 🤝
I wonder if anybody got the reference around 33:51-33:56 as far as the song that Tony "The Goose" Siragusa, Sr. was singing...
For those that didn't get it, he was singing a song called 'The Boys Are Back In Town' by a band called The Bus-Boys.; It plays during the end credits of a late-1983 police comedy/action movie called '48 Hours' starring Eddie Murphy & Nick Nolte.
The tradition 💯❤️Edwin was beautiful
17:50 Now he's doing the Skip skip Skip skip Skip!! 🤣😂🤣
Sadly, no more.
I had to laugh at the question Brian Billick asked around 11:38-11:40...
I completely forgot about that one.
best season of hard knocks
This was a TEAM!
“They hit my nuts” “get in ni**a” had me dead
That rookie hazing now a days would be a law suit smh miss the good ol days
Marvin: “Kenny’s on the wrong side! GODDAMMIT”
Kenny: “I think I did pretty good :)”
That hallway part at 39:20 made me think of the Shining. Only it's not come play with us, Danny, it's come play with us, Rookie.
19:19 “Why ain’t you give us no entertainment?” - Ray Lewis
Rookie hazing. Got to love it.
This was a beautiful time, a time when we took pride in not getting offended. We took pride in being able to handle adversity with stoicism. It was a time when no one got offended, but if one did, they tried their hardest not to show it, because getting offended was losing the mental battle.
Tony Siragusa slip the money under his shorts. 3:15 😆😆😆
Mannn that ice tub aint no joke😂💀
