besides my parents this man here is one of the reasons i made it out of Baltimore did 20 years in the Marines and made it out of combat. as 42 year old man i thank you.
May God continue to bless you brother! Yeah I think Ray is an inspiration for some!
God saved my life 10 years ago through my son and the Baltimore Ravens on February 2nd 2013 as they beat San Fran in the Superbowl and I became sober. Sober ten years almost 11 thank you Bmore
That’s great.
My life was ruined Jan 27 1991 when Scott Norwood missed wide right and the Bills lost Superbowl 25. That's the day I started drinking and haven't been sober since.
The Packers melt down against the Seahawks in NFC title game 2015 tipped me over the edge and sent me on a binge until January 22. It’s been 9 years since my last drink and life keeps getting better and better.
Blessed 🙏🙌
Congratulations, on your sobriety. All of the best to you with your continuous progress.
Ray Lewis is one of my heroes. I am a 57 yo white guy from a small town. I listen, listen, listen to his interviews to understand the Black experience in America. He is the man who transcends boundaries and stereotypes and makes us all understand humanity and life better. His abilities on the field are exciting, but his thoughts and speech are enduring.
You're an idiot. He was directly involved in a murder.
Ain’t nobody asked u all that extra info
@@stancegang7334ain't nobody asked you to respond either... 🤡
Me too. The same from israel

This is one great guy. A total inspiration for young people now a days. He and Ed Reid are helping young football players how to prepare to be the best that they can be. Great man.
Y’all know him as Ray Lewis but when I first met him it was Mr Lewis. I had the privilege to be friends with his son Ray Lewis III and when he passed away last year I could only think about how much Mr Lewis loved his son. God bless you and the family. ❤🙏🏾
Yeah dude I sold Ray a keep for his son yrs ago..sat with him in Owings Mills in his kitchen and did the paperwork while his chef made us breakfast…we talked for about 30minutes about music, Ray is a huge fan of rock n roll…I had a Tom Petty shirt on and he talked about loving Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, The Beatles, Chuck Berry etc…what an INSANE handshake he has too…mangled fingers and all
I think about the parents of the man Ray Lewis had murdered and how much they loved their son
@@Asapp357 funny how you say that because it was someone else who murdered that man not Ray. If you were to go back and read what happened you’d know they just wanted him to take responsibility for someone else’s actions
@@Asapp357 There's always gotta be one idiot troll in the comments. But seriously? Someone makes a heartfelt comment about a man's son dying and this is how you respond? You're trash and that's the honest truth Straight up trash.
and people laugh when i say i am voting for Ray Lewis 2024
Mad respect for this man...
There gotta be a Ray Lewis movie he's always been a huge inspiration to me to play football and be a good defensive back
One helluva of a murder mystery
Absolutely. THAT IS A SERIOUS , I DON'T KNOW THE WORD, ACKNOWLEDGEMENT. BUT IT WOULD BE A GREA DOCUMENTARY BECAUSE IT'S A HELLUVA STORY
Man that's just a small part of the TELL. Very small. Not no murder mystery. The GUY SAYING IT IS TALKING ABOUT A HELLUVA DOC. ON A MAN THAT BECAME VERY SUCCESSFUL. A SPORTS DOCUMENTARY
I was at this filming in 2018. Been waiting for it to come out ever since. A life changing experience mentally
We waited a very long time for this to release.

not gonna lie - I shed a tear to 2 during this interview. Ray Lewis is amazing as a player and a man!
Hey Ray, we played with you buddy all the way through Kathleen, me at Miami. Me and my brother #48 and #54. That picture was the Lakeland Patriots then we moved to the Lumberjack, through Seth McKeel and into Kathleen. Great days, great memories.
A phenomenal athlete. Inspiring leader. I still can’t stand the Ravens, but have immense respect for this guy. He overcame a lot.
Die hard Steelers fan so was never a big Ray Lewis supporter but after see this interview I have so much more respect for him and what he accomplished.
Like the murder? Or the steroid abuse?
Ok I'm a die hard black n yellow fan as well. But he is what made our rival great. Amongst so many other things
steeler for LIFE
@@Asapp357He didnt murder anyone. His friends committed the crime in self defense..
@@Asapp357 CRY
Such a touching story
One of the greatest leaders of men I've seen in my life time to date. To see him open himself up and shed tears is very touching
I was 10 years old when they won the first Super Bowl. Changed ravens culture forever
Being a Giants fan, I hated that 2001 super bowl and hated the Ravens even more because they were so dominant against Thunder & Lightening, but I couldn't deny Ray Lewis was great. I played that same position in HS and know to be dominant in that position, you have to be fast, strong and see everything. That was Ray Lewis. Dominant. One of the greatest NFL players ever.
GOD BLESS YOU RAY!!! You are a real man My Mom raised 4 boys by herself i know where your coming from . GOD LOVES YOU
He’s a murderer and a steroid user. God doesn’t give a fuck about athletic achievements
How do you not respect this man. He had every reason to give an excuse. Not because of where he is from but because of the card he was dealt. First saying I thought of when he said thar he used a deck.of cards to workout. What a absolute inspiration to the youth of this world
Let’s thank Ray for doing everything with the vets and people that made a few mistakes in life and giving them a chance to do something new that they can make a honest living
Best interview of all times in my opinion
Steelers fan here. Much respect to Mr Lewis as a player that was very tough. And respect as an excellent opponent.
When I think of him, I think of the word Passion.
Wow the love as a ravens fan I still have for Ray is unmeasurable I grew up watching him and going to the games in Baltimore. What a story that ray has I’m proud to be a ravens fan! Now it’s time for us to get another ring!
Are you most proud of the murder or steroid abuse?
@@Asapp357no body is paying you any attention. Lmbo
One of the BEST interviews I ever seen❤
Mr. Ray Lewis I've saw one time back in Baltimore when Ravens came to Baltimore in99 I believe but your life sounds like my own be blessed
Thank you for what you giving us God bless you.
Big Ray Lewis fan his story is very inspirational I love to see a love of a son and mother. I bet his dad is kicking himself for not being around for him -look at the man he’s become
What a magnificent human being!
The most emotional man ever! That says absolutely nothing!
I'm a niner fan, but I'm glad Ray won that Super Bowl.
The scholastic part of the football game is just as important and challenging as the physical part- Ray is such a genius
As a die hard Steelers fan nothing came close to the Ravens Steelers rivalry we he played. Always loved Ray and their defense.
From a raven fan to a steeler fan. It's the best rivalry game in the nfl. Much respect for the sportsmanship & being able to enjoy the greatness we've seen between the 2 teams.
Tough times make tough men.
Tough men make easy times
Nuff respect to you Mr Lewis
I love your will ray, I wish and pray I could have a piece of that. God bless you brother.
Simply the Best ever played the game call it Ray Ray The G.O.A.T

Not even close.
So who is?@@ltltraffic5409
@@ltltraffic5409I'd like to hear your list other than Butkus.
@@faithtvonline I'm from Chicago Dick Butkus of course.
@@ltltraffic5409I literally said other than Butkus. 😂 Where is your list?
Great learning the story. I wish we could have relived the moments in the game videos.
The land shark Ray Lewis. HOF indeed. 💪🏾💪🏾🔥🔥🔥
Respect!!! This man was a warrior!!!
What a great human being. So inspiring. Such a great and touching story. Good for him & his family.
Ray Lewis is a God loving and God fearing man. Those of you who blame his mother or accuse him with his trial, walk in his shoes. Y'all don't know the entire story. It's totally wrong for you to assume or accuse.
I don't know anyone, anywhere, at any time who has said a negative thing about his mother or his life story.
I wish this was more of a conversation, like following up with what Ray Lewis is responding to as opposed to just asking him question after question
I never knew his story. All I ever heard was
the trouble at the Nightclub. I'm a MIddle Linebacker Guy.....This guy is awesome. Mad Dog Sweeney 🐕
What a great man and what a great football mind.
I had a bad impression of him because of all the lies I used to hear about him.
Really enjoyed this !!
Ray we love you bro! You changed this nation.
Holy crap this was good. Cried 5 minutes in
Really ? Hes annoying to me hes way too over dramatic
@@TheSands83 Then why are you here ?
because ive listened to all-these interviews. U dont have to b inspired by everyone dummy.. But a grown ass man saying hes crying? 😂 over an inerview? Pathetic
@@mafia_dave32what the hell you gonna do about it? We here stay so we listen to what the murderer got to say.
@@Docstantinople I will spank your A and send you home to momma . What are you gonna do ?
Amazing doc
Ray is a amazing man am amazing human, an amazing role model
It's so crazy, Oscar De La Hoya was talking about government cheese, now Ray. Just yesterday I was thinking about growing up with that sometimes. For many of us our success is not a credit to ourselves but to God Almighty for providing our daily needs to help us each day and putting the right people in place for us each day. To God be the Glory, now and forever! Amen and Amen!
This dude got me crying and 8 minutes very motivational
You're a buffoon. He was directly involved in a murder.
Soy boy
“How do we turn our legend into a legacy?” Ray Lewis
Ray one of the all time greats
In my top 5 Middle Linebackers all time.
You mean number 1. Who would you put above Ray as middle linebacker.
@@bgb946dude thinks jesus christ himself played MLB. Only explanation
“Top 5” 😂😂😂😂🤡
Bait
Now, y'all are being tough on the maxpuppy! I think Butkus and Singletary are challengers, but you have eras and changes in the game to account for. Also, LT is probably the greatest D linebacker of all time, middle, strong, or weak. Don't take a dump on the maxpuppy. He may be a 12 yo kid. "Bait" was the best comment!
The best to ever do it !!! 💜🖤💜🖤
You forget about 56
He’s right up there with OJ
Dan Patrick is a much better interviewer than Joe Buck
This was a brilliant interview 👏
We were at the Raider game above the BLACK HOLE and watched it from the far end zone, to our side end zone !!!
Awesome life story & interview! Thanks you all!

I learned that push ups threw a deck of cards from Florida dudes when I did 6 years in prison in Georgia… card for card there's 376 push ups in the deck and I did it when I came back home… to Bmore salute to Ray and his mother…
52 FOREVER🙏💯
"Coach...I'm goin out blastin!"
I LOVE YA, RAY !!!!!!!!💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
May God bless you and your family 🙏 🙏 ❤❤
Ray Is a BAD man!!
Very few defensive players in NFL history could lay out Jerome Bettis. Ray Lewis did it. Or how about that game ending 4th down tackle of Sproles. Just incredible.
Great YT comment! thanks for the memories.
Yes with Ray it didn't matter how big or how fast. He knew where you would be before you knew.
Yes I played on a different school Perkins Elementary, despite attending Skinner Elementary!!!can't remember the coach name....but he picked me up and drop me at home!!!!!1979 😊
Great stuff from an all time great!
never knew. this is a great man
Salute🏆🥇 Peace Power⚡ and Prosperity👑
Man this is so heartbreaking & makes me feel for Ray and many others that have gone through this. I had one experience of D.A. with my parents when I was like 5 and I remember that like it was yesterday and it wasn’t super common but I can relate and it’s so rough but also can inspire some to be great so all on how you channel that pain.. man 🙏 for our people’s
Powerful
Mannnnnnnnnnn what a story, this guy has no option to be great
That's my little homie
I'm getting Ray's Jersey...he joins Butkus, Mike Curtis, Ray Nitschke and Jack Lambert. Mad Dog 🐕 Sweeney
Rays mother made sure he had structure that’s why he was so disciplined in everything he did.
The back of Lewis head shinning as hell
That's that bigen 59 dye. Cover up that bald spot
I think it’s that spray paint hair shit
I was thinking the same thing.
Glad someone said it 😂
Excellent
A Great Testimony 🙏🏿
That deck of cards story! 😥😢😭
NOW, Ray is Domani Lewis with that "Old" man strength. 😭
Would love to see
Him coach
Gotta love Ray I'm a die hard Saints fan, have to say he went to hard on the hair dye.
God bless him, such an amazing leader
Damn, that light beaming on his head is Rays Opp rn😭
Legend -
Dan…..the sweet sounds of Keith Jackson and Bob Griese.
Dan Patrick is what P.T Barnum would call a Clown, but P.T would be so proud that a fast talking clown like Dan Patrick makes 15 $million a year. The show must go on, P.T always said.
Salute my brother
Jesus . . . Ray Lewis is like a real life Bane & Batman rolled up into one ridiculously hard, soulful block of human granite.
The Greatest
No matter what his mom did he forgave her and it made him who he is because he wanted to make things better
Ray is amazing. Joe buck did a way better job hosting.
is that beijing on Ray's head?
I've ALWAYS been uncomfortable with Ray and his mother's interactions. It always felt like she treated him like her man rather than her son. Now I get the backstory and it all makes sense.
This the og. David goggins and Ray are two scary mfers
