I found this movie back in the 90's and have loved it ever since. It should humble anyone who sees it if you aren't already.

This story is so simple but yet so complicated
I watched this when it came out on television. I believe my English teacher/homeroom asked us to watch it. Still remember it, all these years later. James Bond III was just starting his acting career.

I have been looking for this film for 30 yrs!- since I first saw it as a teen, but I couldn't remember the title of it or the actress' name.. Then I saw this photograph of Olivia Gray and recognized her as the actress and so I searched the titles of her filmography and finally found it!🙂🙃😊
This is a moving, painful, and beautiful story; hopefully white folks like me can read--see it and gain a bit of empathy. Thank you, Mr. Gaines
