I went there got one speck in 10 hours and I won't do that again. Just down the road at White Horse Creek is better. Be careful if you visit White Horse Creek because there are a lot of claims and some of the markers do not exist anymore. Oregon is beautiful and the gold is just a small benefit to the great outdoors.
I tried that are several times with terrible results. I couldn’t find the gold people talked about so I eventually quit going there. Glad you found some AU!
I went to cow Creek once last summer and didn't find nothing. I wasnt real sure where to pan there because there were so many claims but i found a spot that i hope wasnt claimed and worked a couple spots and only found a few micro specs. I usually got to Lawson bar since i am a beginner and not sure where else to go but i would like to find a spot thats a little more private. But i live in Salem so it is a long drive for me
Lawson Bar is not a bad spot to hit when it's not smashed by others. I've been poking around Cow Creek area a bit lately and have found some spots to be much better then others. If you're interested in meeting up and doing some prospecting together, let me know. Thanks for watching 🙏❤️🌲
Can you describe the smell of that material? I've prospected cow creek. Found a picker 12 ft above the water. Material is nasty smelling! Gold is good, though. Thank you for sharing. From Myrtle Creek Oregon.
Thanks for the question monkey man.. Areas like these can definitely start getting a bit funky. That funky smell is great indicator of being in the right area. Sadly this spot had no funk and only a little bit of the shinny stuff.
Great times indeed fam. Keep on having fun getting that Au and living the dream. Your doing great work. Gold Squad Out 🤠
Much appreciated Gold Squad!

Excellent video. The 4 mile marker on Brice creek does a lot better
Well.. I might just have to look into that one. I appreciate the heads-up.

I've been wanting to stop there for a while now. When I go by there, I'm usually headed to my claim though
It's a decent spot to poke around... especially if you don't have a claim.

I found the picker near Zenchenko. It was exciting. Good hunting. 👍🏼
Who's playing the guitar?
Not sure. Most often I use what's available in my phone when doing my sound edits.

Too much work for panning. You should invest in a sluice box.
