Marvin Eady you’re welcome. I must admit that the video makes the removal of the grille tabs from the bumper seem easier than it is. Those tabs are metal and don’t flex easily.

andres castillo I haven’t tuned it after the lower airbox/tube, no issues. It should operate as it normally would at lower temps. If you want to tune for the additional airflow then of course you’ll see measurable gains. I assume you meant tune for the airbox, not the grille 😂 but no tune for the new grille.

I have the upper in my garage and will give it a go on my 2016 Scat Pack when I have some time. Updates to come. One question: Does the older Scat Pack emblem not work on the new grille?
Shaun W I appreciate the comment! For a first attempt at working on a car/making a video it was a fun project with good results. I was hoping I would just be able to pull the emblem off and reuse but the older emblem clips into a dedicated space/slot on the old grille. That space isn’t present on the new grille and won’t work without some modifications (like gluing studs to the back of the old emblem then bolting on).
Can you do a video on how to remove the bumper protectors you painted black that are destroying your factory paint too!?

How do you install the grille bezels/snorkels/inlets/intakes whatever you want to call them into the grille itself? One of mine is loose and I can't seem to get it to snap back in
RageFilms I had the same problem. There are 4 little tabs on the back of those bezels that have to fully seat. I initially rushed the job and one of the tabs just wouldn’t snap in by pushing from the front with the bumper on... 😩 I left it loose until I got back behind the bumper for another part install and was easily able to snap it in from the back. Try finessing it by pulling forward on the grille while pushing in on the bezel. If you stick your finger inside at the corner of the bezels you can feel those tabs.

Hi Robert, the new grille won’t accept the ScatPack emblem from the old grille. There is a new part number for the 2019+ grille emblem. I was awaiting an LED scatpack emblem when I installed this, which I now have installed.

Nice scat bro, let me ask you this is the grill actually giving you the airflow to your engine bay like the 2019 scats and hellcats do, or is it just cosmetic work if install it for a lesser year?
Aaron Zubia It’s purely cosmetic on 2019 Scat Packs as well. In order to make it function as an air intake, you need the 2019 Hellcat Lower Air Intake, baffle and air tube which I have also installed.
This will allow outside air to flow directly into the intake from one of the “nostrils”.

I was curious, is that plastic solid black piece on the front bumper, that sits between the grille areas a separate piece that can be swapped out? I wanted to get rid of my license plate and there’s holes in that plastic piece now. Thx

Hey bro i have a 2019 rt with the appearance package that it looks like a scat pack do i need to change the bottom grille as well or is it the same design?
Justin Alaquinez it looks like the 19 RT has the older bottom grille to match the top so yes, you’d need both if you want them to match. I’m rocking just the new top grille currently.

Dennis Wells I tried for the longest just to remove that black piece when I went back to replace the emblem... it wasn’t happening. No videos of anyone else with any luck either. Yes I had to remove the bumper.

greenolive Hi! As you suspected, your dealership is wrong. All 2015+ models with the SRT/SuperTrakPack appearance front bumper will be a direct swap. This includes the Daytonas! The first car I saw with the grille swap before doing mine was a Daytona!

lester jones yes sir... that front bumper is the only requirement for a direct fit of the new grille.
did you have to remove the fog/and side marker ligjhts? i got the fog to unplug but cant get the side marker disconnected.
Shaun W Yes I believe those side markers must be unplugged to have enough space, and they’re a pain without being able to see the connector. T25 I believe is the star bit if you want to unscrew the side marker to get a better view of the connector.

Whoah. i Could not get those weird push pin side holders that held the bottom of the grille in. had to bring out the dremel on those bad boys. i have plenty of push pins.
1. thing, there are actually two 10mm bolts up top, so that makes 4 per side (including the 2 inside the wheel well).
