“Heal the world”, mixed with “Ani Ve’ata Neshane et Ha’olam” (=you & I will change the world).
Over the past week, we’ve been following the war with a heavy heart and praying for safety and peace in Ukraine. And though the sadness from such tragedies can be overwhelming, we continue to believe that we have the power and responsibilty to heal the world and make it better during such hard times. Part of our faith as Jews is that praying comes with actions.
This is why we were so moved to hear that early this morning EL AL אל על charted a special rescue mission flight from Israel with Forty medics and volunteers from United Hatzalah of Israel and 15 tonnes of medical supplies, food and humanitarian aid, for Ukrainian refugees at the Moldova border. The flight rescued 150 refugees and brought them back to Israel!
We dedicate this song today to the brave delegation and medics of who are helping to heal those in need. #healtheworld #standwithukraine
״אני ואתה נשנה את העולם״ יחד עם ״Heal the world״. בשבוע האחרון אנחנו עוקבים עם לב כבד אחרי המלחמה באוקראינה. בתוך החוסר אונים אל מול הטרגדיה הזאת, ממשיכים להתפלל ולהאמין שאפשר לשנות ולתקן, להוסיף טוב בתוך מציאות כזו קשה. לכן התרגשנו כל כך לשמוע על הטיסה של ״אל על״ שיצאה היום לפנות בוקר לאוקראינה, עם 40 אנשי רפואה ומתנדבים של ארגון ״איחוד הצלה״, יחד עם 15 טון של ציוד רפואי ואוכל לפליטים אוקראיניים על הגבול עם מולדובה. במטוס חזרה החזירו לארץ 150 פליטים מאוקראינה! אנחנו מקדישים את השיר הזה למשלחת האמיצה הזו ולכל מי שמנסה לרפא בקצת את המציאות השבורה הזו.
גם כאן בארץ מתארגנים ואוספים ציוד לעולים הטריים מאוקראינה, אז תפתחו עיניים ותמצאו איך לעזור.
