I have been listening to irish rovers for 6 years I was 8 when I first heard drunken sailor and since then I've loved The irish rovers I am part Irish scottish and newfie and I love all old songs but mostly Irish songs and sea shantys
So I´m half Irish, but have been living for my whole life in Spain and this is the first time I´ve listened to this type of music and somehow I LOVE it. I don´t get it.
I live in northern Ireland love this and any one who would rather listen to Justin beiber needs a reality check this music is thousands of time than the shit thats out today
I am a mix of Irish, German, Polish, Dutch, French-Canadian, Norwegian and I think Native American on my Dad's side (still not sure cuz he ALWAYS lied) so when I listen to any songs about or from those places, that side of me come out.... Seariously... I'm drinking a beer now. LOL
This is wonderful to find I used to listen to the Rovers with my Da when I was a young Lad. Now I am still loving it at 50! The Rovers are timeless!
