- This 10 to 12 person dining table will feature bat-wing style legs with a tambour-look.
It's gonna be solid walnut from head to toe and will be quite a bit of work.
Because of that, I've broken this down into parts and I hope you enjoy its journey with me :-).

Yes, I like the subtitles. Although, I found myself forgetting to focus on them while focusing on the work. I actually had to rewind a few times. No Problem Really. So you've acquired quite a bit of knowledge about fine woodworking, IE the shellac prior to the tinted resin. The silicone around the holes! I liked those small "tricks of the trade".
😉😉😉 I’m glad you noticed! And also, just want to say that my partner and I are really thankful for your feedback! 🙌
Subs were good, content was good. The video was fun, informative, and translated your anxiety and excitement really well while also being peaceful and light-hearted.
You look to be a talented, and professional woodworker. I am sure your client will be elated with the outcome.
Domino's are awesome, I hope I can own one, one day. For now, I still use dowel joints.
Thank you!! I appreciate the feedback very much! Will definitely help us!
love the subtitles!
Thanks, Eli!!! I’m glad you appreciate them!
So glad I found your channel...
Thank you!! What do you like best about it?? :-)
Well done, I like your work and you. Take care. ❤🌺🇩🇪
Thank you! 😁🙌
Great video, great project.
Thank you so much!! 😁🙌
Dope videos. Really love that style of video. Substitles are great too, no to much of them so we can focus on video, and great sense of humor 😁
Gotcha gotcha! I’ll keep that in mind! I’m thinking to do closed captioning for the No music version and then have them in the video for the music version 🤔
I’m by no means na expert woodworker, so it is for me impossible to give any advise to a pro. I love these silent video’s, and in the Netherlands we are used to subtitles. But for me just a few seconds more readingtime would be lovely.
Keep up the good work.
Noted on the extra few seconds! My partner tried to implement that into the music version of the video (he released it after this one!) - do you find you like the non-music versions better?
@@ClarasWoodshop a bit of music is never a problem. And yes, the few extra seconds of readingtime does help (for me 🙂)
Ahhh, thank you so much for that feedback!
I enjoyed the quiet, just background noise.
Thank you! I’ll keep this in mind for the next video :-)
Yeah I liked the subtitles maybe leave them up a few more seconds no big deal I would stop and rewind the video a bit just to read or make sure I read it correctly. (slow reader here) Do you find the F-clamps having more than enough holding power to appose using pipe clamps. Thanks for the tips and tricks Keep up the great work and thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the feedback!! I can empathize rewinding or pausing bc I’m a slow reader too haha. The F-clamps I used for the table top glue up has thicker metal bars to handle heavy duty work. But I’d still say lighter duty F-clamps have enough holding power. I was never let down by them💪
Can you add the subtitles as close captions? I've seen other channels so that so you can opt in or out of them on silent videos. Either way I enjoyed the video and can't wait for the next one.
Good idea! :-) I’ll keep that in mind for the next one!
How do you deliver these?
Welp, before, I used my tiny Volkswagen GTI... but for this one, I'm working on a solution lol!
Very brave for pouring the epoxy in the cracks without something to catch drips under it. When I built my dining table, a lot of the epoxy found ways through cracks and onto the other side. Frustrating. Hopefully none made it through onto your floors.
🤣🤣 I’m not THAT brave, I actually did set up some Kraft paper underneath!
Nice. I bought emerald glow powder and mixed it with the epoxy. Half of my powder ended up on the garage floor. Had to re-tape the bottom, remix the emerald glow powder and hope that I remembered how many drops of dye to get the epoxy back to emerald. Ended up working and now sits in the living room, glowing at night when I turn off the lights.
Even though I enjoy your commentary this video is great. Like woodworking ASMR. Subtitles are great. Side note... ruclips.net/video/LCPteVUgytg/видео.html I've almost had it happen to me as well.
Noted!
