I absolutely love this... Would be great to have these three kids check back in today--nearly 40 years later--and talk about their recollections of this time. Bet their still mods, even in their late 50's (I'm in my early 50's and still a mod at heart).
I remember seeing this on I think BBC 2 as part of an Open University programme about fans. I think either or both the Osman's and The Bay City Rollers were in it as well! It was an interesting programme. And as you didn't see much footage of any band back then. Seeing this section about The Jam was absolutely brilliant.

The three were friends from South Benfleet who had been fans of the Jam from the very early days.
