I am a Palestinian Muslim who was born in Germany and I am so proud of you. It is not easy to revert to Islam in such a hateful world that paints a horrible picture of Islam because they know it is the truth. Don’t put too much pressure on yourself, just always ask god for guidance and make dua. He always listens and he always forgives no matter the sin. So always ask for forgiveness , we are all imperfect and we all sin. Your life will continue to become better day by day inshallah🤲🏼
I love how these revert stories aren’t just dawah to non Muslims, but also to Muslims. Cos we are reminded through our brothers and sisters and we learn from their experiences and it strengthens our Iman. Alhamdulillah.

I’m also a revert to Islam, and still quite new to it ( have so much to learn). I thought the same as you in the beginning. Although I felt Islam was so right for me, I struggled with the thought of comitting myself to it. It seemed too difficult not to sin at all. But as I struggled with the idea of giving up things I felt made me happy, I thought it better to struggle with it, and not let i stop me from getting closer to Allah. But I’m not as good at it as you are, because I still do have a glass of wine from time to time. Hope I will get where you are eventually. Thank you for sharing your journey❤
Say, “O My servants who have transgressed against themselves [by sinning], do not despair of the mercy of Allah. Indeed, Allah forgives all sins. Indeed, it is He who is the Forgiving, the Merciful.” Az-Zumar/53
Allah doesn't expect you to be perfect. He created you fallible so you can make mistakes and turn to him in repentance when you do. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “All of the children of Adam are sinners, and the best sinners are those who repent.”
Hi assalaamu alaikum. If you haven't tried it already, maybe you can try slowly substituting and replacing your wine with a non-alcoholic wine. Whatever the habit, have the "halal" substitute for it right next to it. This helped me have less relapsing because of quitting certain habits cold turkey because some are easier to break while others need a slow transition. For me music was difficult, i began with condensing my playlists and cleaning out anything associated with filth, then switched to instrumental songs, and at the same time i had the muslim central podcast app right beside my music app so whenever i would go to open it, i would remember to choose listening to something beneficial, and even though i havent deleted the music i haven't opened it in a year, alhamdulillah. By the way, the halal and haram wasn't legislated until the later part of Prophethood, for a majority of the earlier part of Islam, the focus was on getting to know Allah, learning about Him, learning our role in relation to Him, etc. The foundation of quitting unhealthy habits is learning about and loving Allah, which will automatically want you to be better for Him. Lastly here's a duaa i love so much "Yaa Muqallib al Quloob, thabbit qalbee 'alaa deenik" (O Turner of hearts, keep my heart firm on Your religion).
Stay strong brother 😁. Also let's avoid sayying "inshaALLAH" or "please" when asking ALLAH to grant us something. Well I honestly didn't know that we shouldn't be saying it in that case. So yes, The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “No one of you should say, ‘O Allah, forgive me if You wish, O Allah, have mercy on me if You wish’; he should be firm in his asking, for Allah cannot be compelled.” ~ Narrated by al-Bukhari, 6339; Muslim, 2679 inshaALLAH means "if ALLAH wills". So of course we can say "inshaALLAH I will do this and that" or "inshaAllah this and that will happen". But not when asking ALLAH to grant us something. 😁
Reverts always carried the flag of islam forward into the world throughout history. Alhamdulillah, i hope you become a means for others to see the light and accept the truth

Such a beautiful soul you are, was born Muslim but I didn't take my Deen seriously and go astray. Ramadan this year was my breakthrough, Allah SWT shined His light in my heart and Flicked the switch in my heart. I suddenly want to pray fard prayers, fast and make Dua. Alhamdulilah I'm a few months in and I've had amazing connection with Allah. I feel so much happier, run away from sin, I worry less, I'm genuinely happy with everything around me. I always pray to Allah SWT to please keep me steadfast on this straight path. I just start Arabic class and I cant believe how easy It actually is alhamdulilah. I hear this a lot from reverts that they wanted to delay shahadah until they stop sinning. The delay is from shaitan. To keep delaying you to the point you pass away without saying the shahadah. 'Every son of Adam sins and the best of those is the one that repents to Allah'. None of us are ever going to stop sinning, do your best and leave the rest to Allah.
I was smiling throughout the video because it resonated so much with my own journey. As a born Muslim, whenever I caught myself sinning, those were and still are my biggest fear and back in early 20s, these moments piled up and broke me to a point I felt like I don’t deserve to be forgiven. The guilt lingered for a few years until last year, I kept getting recommended with Islamic videos on my homepage and d/t life changes, I ended up living just beside a mosque(still is). Since then, I’ve been relearning about Islam, I think what really turned my despair into hope was prophet’ Adam’s story; forgiveness is always there until the day we return to Allah, that He’d guide us as long as we turn to him and ofc that life is a test. These put my heart at ease and just like you, I gradually left a lot of things and I’ve never felt so content in my life. It’s comforting to know that we’re not alone and not being punished for being imperfect, instead we’re guided to reach our best potentials whether through Quran and Hadith or from our tests in life. I pray Allah makes it easy for you brother, ameen. Thanks for sharing your story!
congratulations! 🌹 as a born muslim, i'm always looking forward to hearing stories from reverts. this was touching to see, thank you for sharing your story and all the best to you in your journey 🤲🏼

I can relate with every word you said about how Islam changed your life. I can’t live my life not having a relationship with Allah. It has saved me during rough times that can break anyone and it brought blessings in my life that I sense even through hardships.

When I go through bad times,I turn to Allah and always find a way out. And if great things happen, I turn to Allah and show gratitude. I can’t imagine my life without Islam. Brother, Alhamdulilah that Allah guided you to Islam and I wish you further guidance and blessings.
Alhamdulillah, Masha'allah ❤ Sister from Singapore 🇸🇬 🇸🇬

Alhamdulillah. Its a blessed journey each day until our last breath.
ISLAM is the inconvenient truth for the modern world because it holds the answers to the worlds problems and frees us from the spiritual straight jacket. It empowers and brings peace to the mind body and soul.
May Allah SWT bless you always.
Welcome to the biggest family in the history of mankind. Alhamdulillah! 👏🏽☝🏽

Welcome to the Muslim ummah with open arms, brother! May Allah protect you and preserve you! Seeking knowledge in Islam is compulsory, so keep learning and asking Allah for continued guidance! He is always there and listening and answering every dua/prayer! As evidenced in your own experience! Alhamdulilah! (since you are in the UK, check out Muslim Lantern - I think he has support network for new Muslims). Remain steadfast and put your trust in none but Allah, may He correct all your affairs in this life and the next! Ameen!🤲🏾
Sincerely, your sister in Islam ☪️

Alhamdulillah for Islam
Mashaallah brother 🤲 may god give you strength to stay the path in these difficult times full of obstacles, enemies and distractions
I am a born Muslim…you don’t how blessed you and all reverts are, chosen by GOD Himself on the the truth ALHAMDULILLAH ❤🙏
This brought tears to my eyes 🥹 May Allah keep us on the right path. Ameen
Ma sha Allah, I had goosebumps when i heard you recite the Fatiha Surah.
Have patience brother, your family might take a long time to understand. Don't give up on them. They are the best thing in your life. But they might not understand you very well, and they don't have to. They have their right not to accept your beliefs. For them, you are still their little spoilt/naughty child. This is how i would look at my child too
❤ I lovee it when a person revert mashAllah 😭
I had the biggest smile on my face when he started reciting the Quran. Mashallah May Allah continue to guide you to the right path brother🤲🏾
Alhamdulilah .. I am born Muslim and feel so happy when i come across those videos of newly reverted borthers and sisters. May God take you further into his light and mercy. Always turn towards him. He is always there and will forever be. He is the firstmost and the lastmost.
Congratulations brother. May you stay istiqamah in learning Islam 🎉
من الظلمات إلي النور ما شاء الله، ربنا يثبتك علي دين الله يا أخي
Subhan Allah 🤲🏼
As a born Arab Muslim, I’m always surprised when I see a foreigner revert to Islam.
Alhamdulillah I enjoyed listening to your revert story my brother in islam. May Allah keep you steadfast in your deen and May Allah guide people around you and your love ones through you…Ameen
Love from Malaysia 🇲🇾
Congrats and alahmdulillah for your guidance
May allah keep you and all of us firm on the faith
I get the perfectionist angle we look at ourselves from where it sets us back instead of pushing us forward so it's important to remember that commuting to Islam doesn't mean you don't sin anymore rather admitting the human nature and accepting our flaws while constantly working on them to improve our faith and all around character
Anyway hope this video reach the ones in need for it and may allah reward you for sharing your story❤
Thanks Alhumdulillah, may peace and blessings be upon you too inshallah
I reverted a week ago and now after Salah or well reading the Quran i feel such oeace come over me still have alot of work to do.
