In celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Cancer Awareness Network, Patient Orator is amplifying the voices and faces of patient advocacy advocating for better access, treatment, care, and overall quality and support for patients and family caregivers of those living with cancer. In this video, Tracey Muhammad founder of Breast Cancer Awareness 365 and Board Member of CAN shared his story as a caregiver to his late wife through her cancer journey. My beautiful wife of 25 years was diagnosed with a rare cervical cancer with a poor survival rate. We are still fighting and we have a strong immediate family and church family.... but I still feel lost and afraid of what is likely to happen. I am the main caregiver and I have, and will, fulfill my duty, but I hurt deeply a don't know what happens afterwards. I almost feel like it will be a relief, but I hate that I feel that way.
