Would you say the new CR-S performs more like a UHP road tire in the wet when it comes to aquaplaning and such? I'm thinking of getting these for my E46 M3 which i use on the road as well as the track, and i still want a tire that can do both good and feel safe when it's raining.
There is no hydroplaning unless you hit a large puddle. I use it for both wet and dry track use. Now the AR1... I had the pleasure of driving back from Michigan in the rain and had to drive 25mph with hazards on. Not fun. You can't go wrong with the CRS. It does everything great. Just don't drive in the snow on these tires!!
@@redStaplerRacing Thanks for the info. Sounds a lot like what i am looking for. Hehe, no Snow driving will be done. We have studded, proper winter tires, or spiked rally tires for that purpose where i live. :D
Nice lap!
Doesn't compare to the 1:23 you do! haha.
@@redStaplerRacing I wish 🤣
