Yes! I played the tuba part for my spring concert and it was quite the experience, I also play bells and wow idk what I would do if I had to learn that part at the beginning. Fracus is genuinely the best piece I have and will ever play and was such a fun change from normal tuba parts, so greatfull to play melody and have a mini solo with the sax in the middle!
One of the bands at my school played this for their winter concert, and i decided to listen to it again on here, but literally 30 seconds after the song started, me and my dad drove by a street called "Standridge Drive" Randall Standridge just knows when it's a good time to make his presence clear
I would just like to say this piece is the reason I love band so much more now. When we were prepping this piece for MMEA I was terrified but now because of it I am a way better player than I was before and I now Im pushing myself to become an even better player all because of this song. So, I just want to say thank you, Randall Standridge for changing my perspective on band and making me a way better trumpet player than I was before
Played this as for in the tiger band for Towson's honor band festival 2023. It was their 40th anniversary. I had a massive headache throughout the day, but it was worth it
I've listened to this way to much. This is one of my favorite pieces I've ever listened to, and I have listened to a ton! Hope I can convince my band director to let my band play this!
this song’ll be the first one i play bass clarinet on, so i’m really excited!! the song is amazing so im really happy our director chose to have us play this for our winter concert!!
I am just simply blown away by how talented you are, using different styles, rhythms, etc. This sounds like it came straight from a spy movie! You write so much music, I might consider conducting what I call "The Standridge Saga", containing three of your pieces. This one, and two others I've been practicing on and off. Great job as always, I absolutely love it!
i’m so happy we got to play this. MMEA was such a surreal experience. it drove me to have so much more ambition with what pieces i can play. it drove me to challenge myself more. thank you for everything you do.
Hey i just had the drumset part for region! Very fun part, sadly couldnt go full tempo. Had to simplify the part too because the part was impossible on the kit they had. Very fun though
I would just like I am the VERY first person to have this saxophone solo. Just sayin. Thanks for releasing this amazing piece!!
Just got the piece a couple days ago and I love playing the solo

I’m in a county honors band and someone from Towson is the clinician and we are playing this song
Just started learning the song before any other band members started playing, I'm on the drum set and I've gotten through the first page already!
Hey look ma! He finally finished it!
I've listened to this way to much. This is one of my favorite pieces I've ever listened to, and I have listened to a ton! Hope I can convince my band director to let my band play this!
Just got this piece and will be playing drum set for my first time after being confined to single instruments in concert band. Wish me luck, y'all!

I can’t wait to play this song in my high school band
Ngl this song has a insanely fun trombone part at 2:22, sounds legitimately insane. thanks for the memories I just performed this at a competition
about to practice this for my hs concert 🔥🔥🔥
I’m gonna play this for a competition too

When the bass clarinets ask for a hard piece of music for once
Real😭
Favorite song from my Favorite Composer

This "drumset" part is so good
playing this in middle school
I wish my band was good enough to play this 😭
This spring concert is the first with split upper and lower bands. We got handed this and as a xylo player, I’m boutta have a stroke…
I was informed we’re going to play this for my graduation concert and we’re all estatic
Love the sax solo
My band director (or one of) says that this shouldn’t be a 3.5, said that it should be a 4
My favorite measure is 120 or 3:17
I have drums on this, the swing is going to kill me though it’s a excellent piece
Thank you; quick note. There shouldn't be any "swing." It's all straight 8ths.
Thank you for telling me! Hopefully it turns out good 😅
I played angels and demons the marching band season on snare too
Hey i just had the drumset part for region! Very fun part, sadly couldnt go full tempo. Had to simplify the part too because the part was impossible on the kit they had. Very fun though
Just got this music 🔥 7-8th grade band im trombone 2

Best highschool music sheet
as a tuba, i cant believe the bass is audible (or breathe either)
Fr
This stuff easy, my band learned it in less then a week, flute players in band ate this stuff up

Im a middle school student and band got me playing this 💀💀💀💀💀💀

The altissimo G in the alto soli/solo is a little rude.. but very fun. ;)

1:48
For my practicing
0:49
Just got this piece yesterday and I don't like the 160 tempo for tuba
