EpicHockeyFan I'll admit the lucic deal was nice and unexpected, they got a potential winger for mcdavid or drisaitl and if it doesn't work they can buy him out, but there are so many holes in that team. I don't see them making an impact and being contenders for a few years. Mcdavid could be 27 before they have a chance at the cup. Which is sad, I know he's super human fast but idk how long that will last.
EpicHockeyFan they need 3 suitable wingers at least for mcdavid and Leon, and they need a goalie and proper defence. Only person worth mention is nurse and that's coming from a leaf fan with Swiss cheese defence.
@@leafs34 That's true. They do have 2 potential defence coming though. They got Borberg and Ethan Bear. So many key pieces are still missing but maybe the new GM can turn things around. It's not chiarelli anymore so that's the best thing.

Conner is a master at the 5 hole better than any player I've ever seen and I started watching the NHL in 1964 as a boy. I also played for my home town of Boston and our All-stars would go to Canada every winter and do a player exchange for the kids, I loved Canada, they treated us so well, classy, warm, good hearted people. 🇺🇸🇨🇦🏒
I was a RW and me and my center man had great chemistry, it always 2 guys on a line that mesh, and the 2 guys are an amazing pair, obviously mcdavid is like all the greats, they make players around them better. 🏒🇺🇸🇨🇦

Well, Edmonton does have a new GM now so there is some hope. They're doing some pretty good moves that will get rid of the awful players like Lucic.
