Yes, I would also rather see Rosberg win the championship, but he seems to fail once he is under pressure and cannot hold the championship lead. Hamilton sees this and nails the season winning most of it.
+The Expert exactly. Rosberg is heck of a driver as long the conditions are well layed out for his advance. Hamilton proved that he can win without those. Rosberg really needs to get his nerves together real quick!
And Mercedes is the most overpowered car there has been. Hamilton is a great driver, one of the best currently, but their car is so overpowered compared to others it's just a bit boring.
Stunning scenery and a breathtaking lap makes this the greatest in the world. Spa Francorchamps is utterly astounding, exciting and beautiful. So many memories, historic and iconic moments. Nothing like it!!!.
i got a tour around this track and all of the buildings each floor and every tunnel. it was an amazing day. there was a toyota hybrid endurance driving around the track and those things make a awesome sound. im very happy to have bin there
Always wanted to know the mentality of David Coulthard in 1998 when being lapped by Michael Schumacher in the wet. After driving since 94 to have a complete brain fade in that race, why the hell did he stay on the racing line and almost kill both drivers while he knew the leader was behind him.
Came here after playing with an F1 car (2017 Renault RS17) in Forza 7 to see how realistic cornering speeds are... they're realistic... the corner that blows me away is corner 18 at ~320kmh/200mph. Capability to drive that fast is insane even besides the driving skill, just your mind keeping up with what's happening. Compared to this, the F1 drivers can literally take a nap in my Miata between corners, haha
Hate to be that guy, but Rio's fans should really cherish the time he has been given behind the wheel of a Grand Prix car. No disrespect to Haryanto, but had it not been for large amounts of "sponsorship investments" he would have never been given a drive. He simply did not deserve that seat on merit alone.
+Brandon Ryan he didn't have much sponsorship actually. Indonesian fan who watch f1 simply for him is annoying. But he deserve that seat. He has done everything he could possibly do to enter F1. He is from indonesia where there is ONLY ONE proper racetrack in the whole country. There is no young driver program or race driver school or whatever it called. Indonesian People mostly didn't understand F1. All indonesian care is just Football. Neither of his sponsorship is from goverment. He find his own sponsorship. His Father is not former F1 driver. He don't have any link to the game. He just climb the stair on his own. All of the current young driver is either son of former driver or driver already developed by current team or sponsorship. Ron Dennis Spotted Lewis Hamilton when he was 10. Do you think Haryanto have that chance? Max Verstappen is already trained to be F1 driver since he was born. He have to do everything by himself. And he won 4 races in gp2. Obviously there is a better driver than him. He is not great driver. But he deserve it. He come from the world where become f1 driver is impossible but he did. Manor will not invite him for the test in the first place if he is not good.
+rockzs74r You are so, so wrong. His money is from the Indonesian government. And in these tough times, when F1 is losing viewers consistently, how can you say that an influx of millions of new Indonesian fans is 'annoying'?
+IRrTRIANCLE 53 They're both great drivers but Lewis is just better! (Addmitaly I am bias due to being British) But 3 WDC to 0, two of which were in the same car.
+Daniel Johnson But Rosberg can be far better than Hamilton if he can work under pressure but as Nico cannot work under pressure it only leaves Hamilton by himself and he can't show his defending making the sport dull and boring
Nonetheless, they are not a guarantee of an interesting race and thus they are overrated. I think people should realise that even tracks like Sochi, Austin, Baku or Singapore are good as well, for the background (city, olympic park) can be lovely or large parts of the track can be visible from a grandstand (Austin). What is more, an interesting and dramatic race can take place even on a so-called Tilkedrome.
+Deez Nuts how is It? Monaco is the most historic track on the F1 calender! only Monza and Silverstone can match Monaco as those 3 tracks have been in the sport for over 40 - 50 years
What are you talking about, Lewis chose 44 as his permanent number back in 2014 with the introduction of them and has not changed it since (because he could have chosen #1 in 2015 and 2016).
I don't see it, unless you are making a joke about the petronas logo looking like a six, which might have been the purpose of the original comment already. Otherwise, I am massively confused as to whether my humor and/or my eyes are still functional.
*I like this circuit i played a lot of Forza on it, but holy shit some turns are murder if you don't have down force, I predict that 2017 Mercedes will win since they are much quicker on high speed corners than Ferrari, though anything could happen, if it rains, it would suck.*
Why not Force India? Or Williams? Or Toro Rosso? j/s i am more of a fan of "mediocre" teams, because I am sick and tired of one team winning everything (e.g. Ferrari in the early 2000s, Red Bull in the early 2010s and now Mercedes).
+Nicoreo Hardest, yes. Historic, of course. Best, hmm, seems to be subjective :D But I know what you wanted to say, but nevertheless I prefer Spa. * grabs popcorn *
Brandon Ryan I think it has a lot to do with the way the track flows, it allows v. high speeds, some high down force corners, some low down force corners, some of the corners are what id call 'choppy' add to the that the element of the night racing. i think its awsome. id also add Singapore onto that list. same reasons. just the way it flows with the choppy corners etc. Spa to me is just flat out everywhere, sector 2 is ok with the camber and up and down nature but other than that i think its boring, i imagine driving it in an F1 car is far from boring but to watch its boring for me.
Well I never understood the fascination about the Nordschleife. But it is like it is and everyone has his own opinion, so if you don't like Spa, it's your thing.
"One of the true spiritual homes of Formula 1". You're damned right it is, David,.. you're damned right.
Dude that scottish accent is faultless
Not a Hamilton fan, but I have to admit he is one heck of a good driver!
Agree, some of the stuff he does on track on magic, and although I would much rather Rosberg be WDC, I don't see it happening.
Yes, I would also rather see Rosberg win the championship, but he seems to fail once he is under pressure and cannot hold the championship lead. Hamilton sees this and nails the season winning most of it.
nothing beats someone giving someone else credit. He is a talent, people dont see past the hiphop wanna be imagine.
Favourite Track by far
Favorite track for our crash master Pastor !! :-)
I thought that was Monaco... Or didn't he liked the ban he got in 2008 for driving over a marshall?
Stunning scenery and a breathtaking lap makes this the greatest in the world. Spa Francorchamps is utterly astounding, exciting and beautiful. So many memories, historic and iconic moments. Nothing like it!!!.
2:29 DAT oversteer! :D
2:19 The Verstappen overtaking area. Lets see what he pulls this year!
Nice, to see you here. I like your vids!
Should've had Kimi's onboard. 4 wins yo ;)
kimi won here 4 times?? damn!
2004
2005
2007
2009
And 2008 was leading the race
Schumacher 92, 95, 96, 97, 01, 02.
Thats a total of 6 Win´s. And with the ridiculous DQ 94 and the takeout 98 it would be 8.
@@celador14 Then he crashed out on his own in 2008
Together with Monza and old Hockenheim, my three all-time favourites. But Spa will be always my favourite of all them. I like this track the most. :P
Ha! And I told it! 100m of elevation in this circuit, and some said I'm crazy.
+Juan Wahyudihardjo Yes this is the reason, why I didn't mentioned it. 22,7 km.
Beautiful lap.
still my favorite track in any racing game that has it
I absolutely love the landscape and terrain of this course, very beautiful! A very high speed circuit as well.
i got a tour around this track and all of the buildings each floor and every tunnel. it was an amazing day. there was a toyota hybrid endurance driving around the track and those things make a awesome sound. im very happy to have bin there
there is no "kissing the barrier" in here?
I wish I could give your comment a million likes
+Luigi Peceguini thanks
I like that No Name Turn 9
The name of the turn 9 is "speakers corner". Belgian expert of this track :-)
+Colleen Delhaye Oh wow, this changes everything!
its the most annoying corner on the track as well
+Anthony Kernich the name of this corner is unoficial for the formula 1. But is name is "speakers corner"
+Colleen Delhaye yes because you can see this corner from the speaker room...
We need more super long tracks like Spa
I just cant stop loving to listen to David Coulthard...
The most beautiful circuit in F1. Legendary
BEST 1:46
2016 circuit guide is the best
Where's the video of The History Of The Belgian Grand Prix on RUclips????
At spa rear wing design W07 good control wheel at corner 1:08 fast exit corner.
From distance they know all the movemants , also the millimeters ones ... with the amazing tellemetrie ...
I wish i could see a race here. I race this track all the time on Real Racing 3 and I love it so much
Let's be honest you should have used Kimi
Best circuit of the season in my opinion
Where is classic onboard?
That was a brilliant lap by Hamilton, I wish the voiceover wasn't Coulthard!
Hopefully we'll see some great overtakes this year, kinda like what Max did last year in blanchimont
Another awesome ride. Thanks again DC and Mr Hamilton. Cheers!
Best track. Spa is my favourite. Suzuka is my second favourite.
If all the cars sounded like the mercedes, then i wouldsay the sounds are not quite bad.
Always wanted to know the mentality of David Coulthard in 1998 when being lapped by Michael Schumacher in the wet. After driving since 94 to have a complete brain fade in that race, why the hell did he stay on the racing line and almost kill both drivers while he knew the leader was behind him.
best track on the calendar

my favorit circuit
2:07 "Through the flat out kink" ...he lifted.
Is there an available version of this video in English?
This onboard shows perfectly the beast of car that Mercedes built
Is the track damaged in the middle of the radillion/eau rouge hill?
my 1995 opel astra hatcback grips like this in corners.
a grill the grid special with olav mol!!
The camera glitches at high G's!
hmmm no classic onboard for spa?
anyone else notice that in F1 2017 they used the graphics to showcase the track as they did here
Love this circuit
Finally wait is over 🇧🇪
The best track around the World
Should've done Disc hell a onboard 2009
Bottleberg again loses to Hamilton :)
Rosberg can only perform when he's in the lead with a huge gap. He does stupid things when he's under pressure
+Chimi Changas Actually, I'm Dutch
+Chimi Changas We don't want aids.
He didn't had oversteer at the last chicane. He just turned in to early.
My home GP, think I'm gonna go next year.
Most epic track!
Nevertheless, the loss of the old bus stop hurts the flow of the circuit quite a bit
love spa
Thanks david
The king
just stop.. Nico Rosberg king?? No wonder why everybody hates Rosberg fanboys
+Chimi Changas yeah yeah yeah bla bla bla, whatever fanboys say is just useless, no one will really care about how much you love rosberg
so why do you want to share it so much with everyone?
So sad Haryanto is out... At this track Manor can do something unexpected..
Italy they will probably score points
Hate to be that guy, but Rio's fans should really cherish the time he has been given behind the wheel of a Grand Prix car. His money is from the Indonesian government.
And in these tough times, when F1 is losing viewers consistently, how can you say that an influx of millions of new Indonesian fans is 'annoying'?
Add to that, it's not like Rio didn't start his karting career until he was 20 or something. He's been racing since pre-school age.
Why haslnt f1 hosed a grand prix in finland yet?
Spa is very difficult.
any fans on the old spa layout
As much as I dislike Lewis' personality, I respect his amazing talent.
give him 80's or 70's car and we will se if his fake talent will show up!!
poussy what an idiot
@@poussy9252 @ you will need to go watch his gp 2 and go 3 bro....Relentlessly racing, it makes his f1 career look inferior
pole this year like 4 seconds faster?
Thank you Jesus great vid
Nico Rosberg or Lewis Hamilton?
obvs lewis
+ThisLadWayne nah Nico is better
+IRrTRIANCLE 53 They're both great drivers but Lewis is just better! (Addmitaly I am bias due to being British)
But 3 WDC to 0, two of which were in the same car.
Hamilton the better driver is not even close.

Spa, Nordschleife, Monaco 😍😍=best circuits in the World 💜💜
Monaco is shit
+Deez Nuts agreed, it's only on the calendar for its historical significance and probably sponsor money
+Vilém Vaňhara of cours there are other great tracks aswell bet this 3 are my favourits
+Deez Nuts how is It? Monaco is the most historic track on the F1 calender! only Monza and Silverstone can match Monaco as those 3 tracks have been in the sport for over 40 - 50 years
Best track ever!!!
Just raced it in f1 game!
i'll be there this weekend! who else?!
who think that the Belgian grand prix is the best of the calendar ?
Just everyone.
The shape of the circuit always remind me of a futuristic gun!
It looks like an Uzi for me...maybe too much VC?
its Raidillon, not eau rouge
Eau-rouge is the left hander, Raidillon is the right-left that comes right after it.
eau rouge is the the right hander and then it's radion at the top leading out onto the camel staright
"Kemmel straight"
MK3424 oh right, yeah i didn't know how to spell it.
props Lewis! props!
Perfect lap!!! Lewis is the best.
On his car standing a 6 that is nico number sire
car number 6? not 44?
Where do you see a 6?
What are you talking about, Lewis chose 44 as his permanent number back in 2014 with the introduction of them and has not changed it since (because he could have chosen #1 in 2015 and 2016).
+Vedran if you look at the number on his car, it's six....
I don't see it, unless you are making a joke about the petronas logo looking like a six, which might have been the purpose of the original comment already. Otherwise, I am massively confused as to whether my humor and/or my eyes are still functional.
petronas logo my bad.
max!!!

Hamilton makes it so easy wel I love spa it is sexy to drive that super marcedes 4 schamionship for Lewis this year I put my money on it
pray for rain so its not a merc cruise
So the car not is rigid at this point note time fast.
no rio again..I feel unlucky
+ya Indonesian spotted.
+ya we need more speedy jet..then you'll see how talented he is
+ya I don't get it, either. I really don't understand it...
need to invest in camera technology
Yeah, finally is here! :D
Go Nico Go!!!
Why Mercedes................
why Manor?
Why not Force India? Or Williams? Or Toro Rosso?
j/s i am more of a fan of "mediocre" teams, because I am sick and tired of one team winning everything (e.g. Ferrari in the early 2000s, Red Bull in the early 2010s and now Mercedes).
why not?
Because they always choose the pole lap. Unfortunatelly we'll see a lot of Mercedes hotlaps :(
They dont choose the pole lap, look at the Barcelona guide, they chose a Sauber.
so nobody noticed "belgian"
Why do F1's sound like coffee grinders now?
Last time i was this late, maldonado braked later.
I thought he said, "Fans all over the world fuck here"!
best circuit...and then Mount Panorama
Some say he has the biggest chin actual he has because he is David Coulthard
F1 drivers should need a wee trailer on their cars for this track, to carry their massive balls.........
Mecca has nothing on Spa
Qui parle français ?
Why Hamilton onboard again?
Pole
hi
This is nothing, compare it to Webber's 2005 Qualifying lap
I have the best track of the World in my country🇧🇪🇧🇪
I have the most historic(and hardest AND maybe best) one in my country...Green Hell
+Nicoreo Hardest, yes. Historic, of course. Best, hmm, seems to be subjective :D
But I know what you wanted to say, but nevertheless I prefer Spa.
* grabs popcorn *
Romberg will be on pole, get a bad at start and then hit Hamilton and give him a puncture
Never understood the fascination with Spa. I'd take a Monaco, Abu Dhabi, Brazil over Spa any day.
Abu Dhabi? May I ask why? There is not a single thing about that racetrack that is special.

+Ryan Flood Fair enough my man. You seem to have thought this through, so I respect your opinion. I'd say we can agree to disagree on this one. Lol
Brandon Ryan Well, turns out Spa was far from boring today lol.
WTF kind of doof would thumbs down this? It's awesome !
Spherian7 Yes it is awesome to see a driver pushing the car to its limits
