btw round this to the nearest common number, common mouse dpi's are 400, 800, 1200, 1600, etc... I got 860 but I rounded it to 800 because that 60 most likely will be user error.
If you guys can download a software to scan the dpi of the mouse I really recomend you to use it, because if you are doing this for the first time... probably it's not going to be 100% accurate. It's really easy to get lost with the ruler.
@@AngelOcba-mk6eo if You have a brand mouse You should download it's own software (Razer synapse, Steelseries, Corsair, Logitech), if not there is a couple for generic mice: Mouse Tester and Enotus mouse test.
or just look at the specs of your mouse/ manual that comes in the box like mine for example the Corsair M65 has 5 default colors to assign dpi and I like using green and looking at the manual green is 3000 dpi
okay I think I dont need to measure it anymore when the ruler came into it thank you
LOL
You came here because of an FPS game that you're having a hard time aiming in, lol.

Thats why I am here, I threw the box out and don't remember what color was what DPI and I also cannot find the manual anywhere online.
i just click the "DPI" button on the mouse untill i find the cursor to move fastest :D
thats how i learned it in the future
after checking the dpi do i turn on enhances pointer precise again?
no
How do I know how much to move to the right? How can I tell when to stop?
You move up to however many inches/cm you put for target distance.
How do i do this without a ruler
Use finger (should be straight enough)
Ty helped alot bcz i got new mouse and the dpi was dif
a lot*
do i turn on enhance pointer precision again after i check my DPi results?
dont that option is disgusting idk why its on by default
Depends on if you want to use it. Basically it makes your mouse move extra slow (higher precision) when you move your mouse slower.
