This reminds me of coming home for Christmas on the UP City of Los Angles back in the sixties, with a train load of Marines and college students. We sat too long in Las Vegas and when I asked the conductor why, he said the Camp Pendleton crew and some students went to get beer, and the Marines had threatened to pull the air brake line if the train started to leave without the adult beverage supply. Soon the hero's came down the street, pushing a dolly full of beer cartons. What a night that was, but at least they didn't have to pull the cord. 😎
@jasonervoes1326 | No, she complained that they didn't tell her what stop they were at and she stopped the train and yelled at the car attendant about that, then walked off with her kid, from that point on I didn't care, I was more worried about the trains safety than hers. I worried about the trains safety by telling the conductor what car the lady had pulled the E brake on and from there the train left. No idea what happened to her, and honestly I don't care.
@@Subpowerzero66actually you do care. You made a whole video and wrote a diatribe in the description about it. 🤷♂️ It’s a good thing you were there though right?? The crew never would have figured it out on their own. 🤡
Nothing like being in the right place at the right time to help the train crew figure out what happened. Nice work. Some railroaders consider fans like us to be a nuisance, or worse. Doing something good like you did goes a long way toward building respect and trust with the crews. If that crew sees you again they'll remember.
I guarantee you the crew knew exactly what was happening. More than likely they were laughing at this 🤡. Oh, the crew does think you railfans are a huge pain in the arse..If that crew sees this 🤡again, they’ll remember alright. 😂😂😂😂 Remember what a tool he is.
Idiots like this who think they are more important than everyone else piss me off so much! Just because you made a mistake doesn’t mean you should mess up like 100-500 (just a Geuss ) other passengers day just because you want to get off because you missed your stop because you were being dumb and not paying attention!
Pulling the E Brake is not a crime, but it is against railroad rules and regulations for anyone other than a qualified personnel to use. She shouldn't have pulled it, but she can't get in too much trouble for it
I would never imagine being inside the Amtrak train on the Texas Eagle. If someone did pulled the emergency brake on one of the superliners, I would find out who did it even though if I was the passenger.
I've seen the exposed E brakes on these cars and never understood why they aren't covered behind a small door with a lock, to prevent something like this.
I'm confused, if i followed her I wouldn't be able to do anything because the conductor didn't come out till much later. Not to mention, I'm not wanting to get involved in the first place with the woman because she was already pissed off. However, I did point out to both the lady car attendant and the conductor as to what car she pulled the emergency brake on and that did solve the problem.
@@dougbarnowski5224 | The beef between that lady and Amtrak doesn't concern me and my opinions. What happens in public stays public, and it happens on my camera, it's not really my call on what to do next, I just filmed it. Also, I didn't have a phone to even call anyways.
They are idiots because it's a Federal offence to pull a emergency brake when it's not an emergency and also this time when they spent this long at the station.
Feel terrible for her kid to have a mother or whoever like that.

Shhh shhh shhh
I see we have an entitled mother... I feel so bad for the passengers and especially the CREW for having to deal with that woman's stupidity
Just found out that this train was somewhat late and this just made them more late. Probably a pretty angry crew when this happened.
Amtrak is always already late lol
Did they throw this idiot off the train and the police waited to arrest them?

What a dummy for pulling the emergency brake on the Amtrak train
EMERGENCY BRAKE
She must have wanted to see Emmett
WHO IN THE BLAZES APPLIED THE EMERGENCY BRAKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thought it was obvious when it's in the title, and shown in the video...
Uhhh Dude I know it was her.
No offense but it was a polar express reference.
You were supposed to say “she did” and I would respond with: You…..
I love The Polar Express reference 😂.
Trump did

I believed this woman and son almost missed this station and pulled emergency brake stop the train and hopped out.
Woman and daughter. And I guess she didn't know which way was which when on the train and where to get off based on what her ticket said.
I want to know what they did to her. Jail?
Probably got no reimbursement for her ticket on the way back if she ever did go back on a train north. Other than that, I've got no idea.
Hopefully Amtrak banned her for life.
