Joe is always a riot! I miss the Joe and Don Felder days. One of the greatest guitar duos of all time.

Joe and Don Felder should say screw it and do an album together. We only live once, and some things aren’t about contract!

Love it when Joe asks about the tonal difference between neck woods. This is where art, science, and craft meet.

Paul nailed it when he said that Joe is musical royalty... he truly is in my book, as well as being a humble well grounded human being.

I've heard Joe talk about how hard "Hotel California" is for him. It's a song I'm always apprehensive about playing in my cover sets. After he said that, I didn't feel so bad. Also, being so awestruck watching Jeff Beck play. When Jeff plays, I become that 9 year old boy again, wondering how he does that. Joe, if you're listening, you've been an inspiration to me almost all my life.

Love and look up to Joe so much! Love when Paul says his favorite thing in the room is Joe’s soul... that is truly humbling for Joe. Joe truly is one amazing human being all around. Maybe not always perfect (but then again who is?) but still a wonder and I do think Joe is a good soul to be around and to learn from.

Joe is such a treasure! He has taught me so much about attitude around music. "Never play it the same way twice, just make sure I like what you play". Awesome!! Thanks Joe and Paul!! 8) --gary

Joe is a big part of rock history and he's not done yet. Joe and Don Felder were like "Peanut Butter and Jelly" together. They fed off each other. I miss those days when Joe went solo with Don and again with the Eagles. Magic!!!!!!

Finally, some validation - I don't close-mic the amp, I record the room. That's what you hear when you play the guitar, you don't have your head next to the amp. Thanks Joe

A wonderful conversation between two national treasures. I can’t imagine where I’d be had my local musical store not introduced me to PRS guitars. I was frustrated, because at that time (1990), the Big Three guitar makers were at low ebb. I went into the store without a clue what to try out, so I asked my favorite salesman to recommend the best off-the-rack electric guitar he had. He went in the back and came out with a black Fender-style hard case. He opened it up to show me a cherry sunburst Custom 24 Ten Top. It was absolutely stunning. When he handed it to me and I started playing, I knew I was home. While I was getting to know that guitar, he brought out three more cases filled with three more six string jewels. I tried them all. The consistency of playability and intonation was nearly identical from one guitar to the next-absolutely flawless. They sang like birds. It came down to which color I wanted. I took home that cherry sunburst Ten Top, and played it without an issue at every gig until I retired in 2001. To this day, that cherry sunburst beauty is still my go-to guitar. I’ve since added more PRS guitars to my arsenal. How can you not? Thanks, Paul, for making guitars that bring out the best in my playing.

Fantastic interview/conversation with Joe. From different woods and guitar tones, to mic/amp placement, to rhythm/lead guitar, I could have listened all day! And it was so heartwarming to hear the kind words that Joe spoke of about Don Felder. I got a little teary eyed there I admit. Joe Walsh is the best!🎸

I’ve been listening to Joe walsh for a long time and he is one of my favorites no doubt from the James gang and eagles to his solo stuff with a few mediocre albums in the mid 80,s but one of the great things he has also done was give jimmy page his les Paul when Led Zeppelin were on the first tour of America and then that became his signature guitar that has launched a 1000 guitarist. What a story this guy has and a true inspiration and legend 🙏🏻

Joe is fantastic, he is one of my favorite players. I wish he would do more solo tours. But we all know the Eagles put food on the table for his family. The first time I saw Jeff Beck play I was completely blown away. How does he do that? Every time since I have felt the same. He does things that nobody else can do, just complete magic. If you can ever get a chance to see Jeff play, do it.

Joe was right about the acoustic backing. Listen to Barnstorm and 'The Smoker you drink, the Player you get'. The track Meadows. The acoustic fills the sound out. I find Joe and guitars, he goes where the deal is. He's done Carvin, Duesenberg and others. He sounds like Joe on them all.

How I wish I could afford one of Joe’s signature guitars. This one and his Deusenberg guitar, the black and gold top one. But unfortunately they are way too expensive. I just lost my mom and for sure I will not be able to get one. It would be a dream come true to be able to have one of Joe’s signature guitars.

Alex Lifeson is the King of Rock lead/rhythm playing in my opinion ! I'm yet to hear anyone more technical or orchestral or as brilliant in structure ! With that said, Walsh made his contribution to music, but lost his passion for creativity, thus having to rely on what was ! Great interview nonetheless !!

      Mick Green RIP (The Pirates)
You will find examples of their work on RUclips. Stay safe and well.

And at the last second it all comes together and makes sense until you try to explain to somebody else And then you can't explain in any way shape or form what it was you think you understood from what you heard.
In other words, I just listened to Joe Walsh speak.😂😂😂😂😂
