I have one of these babies. Unfortunately apart from an intake not a great deal you can do to increase the performance. The ecu is still locked any skullduggery drops it straight into limp mode. I’ve got to say this is a fast stock car. My previous hot hatch was a focus rs stage 2 420bhp with all the mods. The golf would leave it for dead up to 100mph

I went and had another drive and look around today and whilst the new car has many new improvements there were so many items that have been cheapened up and downgraded, clear cost cutting. Sadly, some of the Euro stuff is cutting quality and costs while the Japanese & Koreans are improving theirs and in doing so closing the gap. Compared to my 7.5 R FE there were many disappointing cuts imo & I think VW has made a mistake by doing this. I would sooner see the price a few dollars dearer & the quality remain. That said, there’s definitely performance improvements but given I can’t go 9/10th on the road I will happily keep my 7.5 & maybe throw a tune & BB kit at it ect, maybe.
Your cinematic productions are always so beautifully done. Great music, great edit.., I knew the KIT would makes it's way onto the vehicle.. I looks great and sounds even better.
VAG ftw. I just keep watching it. I'm up to the 6th viewing. All those lights and the sparkles reflecting off that deep deep paint - magic. But, I especially like the sense of pride that is felt for Sydney locals when we see the roads we drive down being set to a killer track and having Moog's killer R rolling. Brilliant.

Universe knows if you'll even get this. Do y'all remember skate videos and snowboarding videos from the 90s. I used to love watching those whether they were on in the background or whether they were playing at a buddy's house, or even at the local skate shop. Now, I love cars. Watching your new golf R video was very reminiscent of those types of videos. I've had this thought before when you guys do drive by shots with music or assembly montages. I think an amazing video series for either the main channel or the MCM 2 channel would be long one or two hour mashups of you two driving cars, working on cars, doing car b-roll, walking through car shows, with original music from Moog, or the both of you. Something reminiscent of those old skate videos but featuring cars and working on cars and the car scene. Just a thought, I love you guys, I love your show, I love what you guys do for the car community.

I wish you did these cinematics for all of your cars so everyone could look at their favorite ones over and over again. VW is not my cup of tea so what I got out of this was the awesome blue color and the camera work and god tier music and editing.
Love it, looks ace! The only thing I think that sticks out (see 1:35) is the metal exhaust pipes you can see through the nice black tips you've got, I'd personally spray them black too.
I love your Golf R. I first built my first Volkswagen back in 2007 did all the works lowered wide wheels rolled flared out my fenders and was all blacked out. I decided to sell the car to purchase a new home for me and the wifey. I will always have love for the Golf and maybe one day lol 😂 I can purchase a new one.
