- This board isn't just a fun shape or funboard, it's a surprising surfboard that can be ridden in just about any kind of waves. Rob Machado Seaside and Beyond by Firewire Surfboards review : It's not a funboard!

Very insightful! Thank you!
I placed an order for 6"8, waiting for it to arrive on my doorstep in January.
Thank you...enjoy the sweet ride!
Love the red color! The Seaside and Beyond is probably one of the best boards out there at this moment :)
Completely agree, thanks for watching 🤙😊
Thanks. Helpful review. Tipped me towards buying one!!
Will be stoked i am sure
YYYYYeeeea. This is what I was looking for . Thank you!
Very welcome, thanks for watching...It really is a killer board.
Thanks for the review! I’m moving down from a 9’ log like your wife so this is perfect!
Thanks for watching, stoked it helped 🤙😎
Just picked up the 7”2 in timbertek. Can’t wait to try it!
Epic!
Just picked up the 6”10, it’s great
How are you feeling after a couple of months on the timber tech? The higher volume one seemed like it was a little heavy and might be tough to move around? Hope you’re enjoying it!
I got this board in the Timbertech in a 7'0 and it did not surf well at all. Too heavy, didn't catch waves easily for how big it was, hard to move around quickly. My 5'10 seaside has been the most fun I've had on a board. Just picked up a seaside 6'0 hoping to use it in bigger waves as the 5'10 worked really well in overhead waves.
Thanks for watching and sharing your experience. I had a love hate with the board too for nearly a year, then one day it clicked and now I grab it all the time. Found it works best when I don’t try and paddle hard or over turn it. But there is no board that works for everyone. My wife carves the crap out of waves on it.
Great review!! Was debating between this and an ADDvance for getting back into surfing and after your honest review I think I'd suit the ADDvance more.
Thanks 👍
Sounds like a good call. Thanks for watching the video. Hope you score some clean empty lines!
i believe the 7'0 is even less of a small wave board. Its slow and clunky, and needs very open carves. Yet it still needs a push and cannot compete with normal midlength and longboard for glide. You need a big open face for it
This channel is gold! Subscribed! :)
Thank you 😊 what an awesome comment to have waiting for you on a Monday morning 🙏🤙
@@BluePacificMedia Haha, you're very welcome! :)
I totally see it for slightly better days with nice walls...I have a question or need your opinion... what do you think of adding a center fin box? Just to optimize fin option for days when you want more control as a thruster.
Thanks for watching...I would leave it as it is...better off just getting a thruster as a second board.
Great review mate. It was even the key words that were thrown out there that have convinced me to get one. Have you ridden it in bigger stuff yet. Is it twitchy and slide out? I ride a Dominator II and on the bigger days it is a bit slidey, so was after something that had the more volume I can get a bit of an advantage in paddling into the ones I am missing. But I didn't want it to slide out on me.
Thanks for watching…had it out in double over beachies…rides like a dream…think carves rather then snaps and it’s gold…heaps of speed and great hold through the rail….didn’t skate out even once…happy surfing 🤙
Love your reviews thanks. I'm 52, 170cm77kg looking for a versatile board for a Maldives trip. Thinking the 6'8" and maybe 5'10" Seaside. thoughts? cheers
Thanks and thanks for watching🤙😊 sounds like a killer quiver for the maldives…but i would think smaller on the seaside i kind of wish i had grabbed a 5’6 or 5’7
Where did you pick it up I.That red man Its sick! Keep up the good reviews🤙
Thanks for watching and will do my best. The board was custom ordered, ask your local distributor or retailer they should have a color option list.
@@BluePacificMedia sweet bro cheers yeoow
GLS redの車体色でシュミレーション出来ますでしょうか?
Think you sold me on this board! How did you score it in red?
🤙😊 firewire offer different paint schemes...we ordered it, took a while longer then buying off the rack is all.
@@BluePacificMedia interesting! I was looking on their site and only see white or the timbertek. I’m so impatient I’ll probably just roll with the white.
Have to ask the retailer i guess, but i like white
@@pjrodriguez9755 The retailers are supposed to have access to a webpage or software that allows them to customize your board if you wish. Don't quote me on that but last time I checked it was a 6-8 weeks wait before getting the board if you customize it. Cheers
It’s a beginner board depending on the size.
Thanks for watching, i disagree though, even a 7’4” is responsive and the few beginners i have seen try and ride these have been struggling...the tail is just too tapered and sensitive.
