FYI - the pile of clothing, and set, is inspired by an art piece by Christian Boltanki from about 15 years ago that he did in Paris' Grand Palais including the dropping of the clothing. BTS and others have also used his art instillation in the abandon building as inspiration to show a metaphor of lack of humanity.
Something about Tae being the more vulnerable one with IU leading and trying to protect him is just so poignant. I’ve read that he has burn marks on his face which could mean that he’s had an experience with the cube before. This song makes me so emotional. IU’s beautiful crystal clear voice is stunning.
V AMAZING acting out all these emotions of fear happiness sorrow furious, in a 5 minute music video is crazy because we see actors failing to act out a single emotion in an 1 hour long episode but here he is, the versatility is showing 😭They they forgot what they were running from because through the lens of the camera, they were able to just love and enjoy life until the reality caught up to them and they were taken away ICRY 😭😭😭😭❤❤😢

I absolutely love this song. I get a knot in my throat and cry every time I hear it. IU has such a beautiful voice. Pure tone for sure. What is it about strings in a song?!?! I absolutely love strings in a song. It’s ethereal to my ears always. I would recommend listening to Love Poem, Ending Scene, and Eight (produced by Suga). Eight was their first collaboration together and holds a special meaning for IU in regards to the loss of a beautiful friend that she and Suga both knew. I don’t think she’s been friends with BTS as long as you might think. Remember when JK had such a crush on her but was so shy he practically fell apart every time he saw her. The boys were not friends with her back in those days (2017 - 2019). I think when she did Eight with Suga he was the first member to work and get to know her. Remember she had to ask Suga for RM’s phone number lol. The members except JK ironically and maybe Jin are now friends with her because they did IU’s Palette this last year.

Even though she sat in the row right in front of them in the Spring Day era. So of course I also know the history between IU and the members. I’ll go back and check so we both know they’re history but I really do not consider her having been friends with all the members for many years. That’s just my perception of it based on all the members and IU. I absolutely love strings in a song. It’s ethereal to my ears always. I would recommend listening to Love Poem, Ending Scene, and Eight (produced by Suga). Eight was their first collaboration together and holds a special meaning for IU in regards to the loss of a beautiful friend that she and Suga both knew. You can also find her collabing with Suga on his solo album. She is truly amazing.

IU is a friend of BTS for many years. Suga even produced one of her songs and she featured in one of Suga's songs in his last album. Her world tour will begin in Seoul next March 2 and it will ends on the 2nd Agust in Los Angeles. She is a mega star in Korea and in Asia for 16 years. She recorded this song very sick with a cold, because she could not postponed it due to a tight schedule.

I don’t think she’s been friends with BTS as long as you might think. Remember when JK had such a crush on her but was so shy he practically fell apart every time he saw her. The boys were not friends with her back in those days (2017 - 2019). I think when she did Eight with Suga he was the first member to work and get to know her. Remember she had to ask Suga for RM’s phone number lol. The members except JK ironically and maybe Jin are now friends with her because they did IU’s Palette this last year.

Even though she sat in the row right in front of them in the Spring Day era. So of course I also know the history between IU and the members. If she only knew Suga out of all of the members I don’t consider her a friend of BTS for many years. I’ll go back and check so we both know they’re history but I really do not consider her having been friends with all the members for many years. That’s just my perception of it based on all the members and IU. It’s just like Ailee has been friends with RM since they hosted KCON together many years ago but she’s not friends with BTS (all members).
