As I already declared in my previous comments Nodirbek Abdusattorov is a "chess machine". Just like the legendary Josè Raul Capablanca, nicknamed in that exact way, he makes chess look simple and outplays his opponents in a spectacular positional style. Mere words of praise are really not enough to express the absolute greatness of this unique chess genius.

Black's position looked better from early on and Magnus could have taken a draw at a few points and unusual for him missed the fork tactic. Nothing is guaranteed, Abdu will have to contend with a group of improving Indian players and others who are also top-class. Also the Indian players will gain valuable experience in the upcoming candidates. Will be interesting to see how it develops over next year or two.
