It is my bad that I did not notice the bit about Open tunings being missing from its polyphonic mode, though its accuracy in Chromatic modes beams me up, Scotty.
I need one with 1/4" 6.25mm I/O also, they can do it.
Love mine... got rid of all my old tuners. Only thing I wish it had is the ability to disable the auto-off or set it's time in minutes.
Yeah that would be handy sometimes.
Accuracy aside, I wish this tuner swiveled. And, would have been nice if the foot clip was flat. It’s a little stubby & feels like it’ll slip off my headstock. Wish it was more like the Peterson Stroboclip that it swivels & has a flat foot clip. Other than that, PolyTune is a nice looking tuner.
Can someone tell me simply how to use it for E flat tuning? jesus...how hard can it be to find that simple tuning with this tuner. What do in change the ref frequence to. nothing sounds right.
On the side there are 2 buttons. Pressing the first (top) one cycles through the tuning modes. It will start with E, press it again for Eb, then D, then Db etc. Then it goes through capo modes (a number suffix, 1-7) before coming back to E.
The problem I find is that when in Eb tuning mode, all notes are displayed as sharps and not flats. So you're tuning to D# instead of Eb, and G# instead of Ab etc.
When i press I just see 440 hz...I am able to cycle thru a few 400 numbers but not sure what they are for...and when I press that button it blinks all over the place at the same time like some disco ball led...but I don't see any "letters" that display long enough to make any sense of. Is mine defective?@@guitarlounge
The different HZ settings do nothing as far as i can tell.
If you're seeing "440" on the display, that should mean that you're clicking _both_ buttons on the side.
Instead, can you only press the top button (on the side)?
For sure only pressing 1 button.@@guitarlounge I have the unitune clip if that makes a difference. Anyway..I just capoed the first fret and tuned normally but is pizzes me off the thing strobes all over the place even with the sound of the wind.

There’s no point reviewing this tuner.
It WAS the best in its price point but now the price has got Ukrained’.
$140-160 from a local seller is through the roof ridiculous. At this price I’d rather get another Peterson strobe clip on tuner.
I’ve had three of the tc which I use in group guitar lessons:
Functionally, it’s gray but all three have had it cases come apart through standard use. At this price I want an aluminium case with screws.
So now I’m just going to buy the Mooer ct-01, although I prefer to buy the real deal the inflation of these tuners is absolutely unacceptable.

No it’s a button battery. Last’s a long time.
