Is there any accompaniment after purchase?

ive thought for a while that if you can get another nut and put it on there then it would greatly help with the loosening since it’s got another nut to hold it back, I know you can buy the nut from websites online so hopefully that helps. also I was wondering if you let the loctite dry? Loctite takes about a day to fully harden up. Thanks 😊

I recently stumbled across the live version of this song and ironically just got a gold top DGT SE. This guitar is PERFECT for this song. The clean and crunch sounds (also using coil split) is so acheivable. Like you I use the neck pickup and the treble bleed means when I dial the vol back it's lovely and clean then for the melody wind back up for for added attack and crunch 👍👍👍

CC is a criminally-underrated player for me - his parts were deceptively simple, but he has a magic sense of pocket. I think the solo on Every Rose is just beautiful and suits that song perfectly, and I've never heard a cover of it that's as textural as the way CC plays it.

Wow! It sounds like there are some serious quality control issues with the one you got. I had issues with a Squire classic vibe 50s tele and ended up having to take it back a year later and get a whole new replacement. I would think that David Grissom would not be too pleased with this kind of quality control.

Ha! The problematic nature of internet searches. This showed up in my rabbit hole because I was sharing the song with an ex-bandmate. I was sharing the song with said friend because when I last listened to this in the car the other day, I kinda felt like Luke was channeling Dann Huff in the lead-out fills. I’m considering this guitar so this was really useful. Thank you. You might try a dab of Loctite blue threadlock on that screw that’s coming loose. It helps fix but isn’t permanent so you can get the screw out if needed.

This picking pattern is so stupidly difficult, it's hilarious that it's not a shredding lick at 240bpm. Back in the '90's they used to play this song a lot faster live and there's even an acoustic version. Watching him destroy that loop over a 5 minute song is astounding. BTW the picking Paul used is even more confusing that what you did. He played it "U, D, U, U, D, U, D, U" I believe. It's not strictly alternate, but it's very "Paul Gilbert" with his early guitar experience of playing only upstrokes 🤣 6:03 just got to this part of the video :D
