I've long been convinced Clapton truly never hit a bad note. Ever.

Jerry Lynn Williams was a phenomenal songwriter. Eric had a perfect pallet to work from..

Nice job mate. Clapton is God ;)
Love the Breaking Down videos. Would be good to see you having a crack at The Hoax; Don't Shake My Hand. Jon Amor/Jesse Davey. A bit like Tinsley Ellis ... just more of 'em

Jesse is a badass player. One of my favorites. Scott McKeon as well

@@emdblues Watched a bit of "GuitR teacher reacts" to Tab Benoit playing "These Arms of Mine". Love videos like these, where the explanation of how they're stringing stuff together is made. Tab Benoit; Guitar+Amp+Fingers. Just insane what he does

Both versions are phenomenal. However I kinda lean towards the studio version. Love the choir..

Why are you making the solo part so complicated with the pentatonic shapes you mention? It 's just a G Major Scale, dude!

Technically yes, but it's what you don't play that gives the flavour. So, in this case he's clearly (IMHO) targeting 5 note scales. In this case A minor (A C D E G).
If it was just G major, you'd be hearing the B and F#.
