Luke 24:41-43(The ONLY place in the Bible where it says Jesus Ate meat). It says he ate boiled fish is very simple to explain. It is a FORGERY. Many other scriptures point to Him after resurrection going to Galilee (Matt 26:32, Mark 14:28, Matt 28:10, Mark 16:7 & Matt 28:7) not on his way to Emmaus where this fish eating supposedly took place.
The Messiah did not condone killing/eating fish nor gave it to the masses because even IF the manuscript is correct, the translation is wrong. It has now been found that the word was ψάριαφύκια. Which is the Greek word for "fishweed" (a dried seaweed) has been mistranslated in this story as "fish". It is certainly true that dried fishweed would be more likely in a basket with bread, as fishweed remains a popular food among Jewish and Arab peasants like the people to whom Jesus was speaking.
When the Church Father Irenaeus made a reference to the feeding of the 5000 he always only referred to the five loaves of bread and never made any remarks concerning the fishes. This strongly implies that in his day the gospels did not contain any reference to the fishes but that it was added later by an unknown interpolator. If you carefully read the text of Matthew 14 you will see that Jesus only broke the LOAVES and gave ONLY THE LOAVES to the people. Twelve baskets were filled with broken pieces of BREAD. When Jesus made a remark concerning the feeding of 5000 and 4000 he always only referred to the LOAVES of BREAD AND THE BASKETS which contained the broken pieces of bread. Jesus never made any remarks concerning the fishes.

Piers continues to bring up the avocado almond dilemma. However I live in California and lived in the Central Valley for over 20 years where avocados and almonds are grown. So many almond and avocado growers went bankrupt years ago because the local farm bureaus primarily support animal agriculture, which is huge in California and especially the Central Valley of California. So what happened was the price of water was so enormous for almond and avocado Growers they had to let all of their Orchards dry up and die. I have driven through there since then, and it's a wasteland, the area looks like a desert. It's really sad to see. The majority of the water is rationed for dairy and cattle ranchers in addition to the subsidies the government gives cattle and dairy Ranchers. Farmers growing produce, fruit and nut trees get what's left from government subsidies, which isn't much. So Piers needs to do his research before he starts spouting off about a subject he knows nothing about. He's redundant.

The movie also proves that Jesus was NOT a "fictional character" -- but the question is, what type of person would prefer to believe such a beautiful compassionate man never existed?

Pythagoras made vegetarianism recommended hundred years before Jesus, as also did Greek philosophers. There's always been people abstaining from meat. In the times of Jesus, there were people who abstained from meat, as there were at any other time in history. No reason to believe everybody were eating meat at times of Jesus. In first millennum, most monks would abstain from meat. Still there's monks doing it today. Nothing unchristian on abstaining meat at all.

Hello Scott. Great question. The answer is this; Us activists are not trying to make Piers Morgan vegan. That would be great and all, but we are very effectively reaching his audience. "In October 2023, the show's RUclips channel reached 2 million subscribers, making it "the world's fastest-growing current affairs RUclips channel" Source- pressgazette. Now for a hypothetical, if only half of those 2 million subscribers saw the video, and of that half only 5% were convinced enough to go vegan, that would be 50,000 new vegans. Each vegan saves an average of 100-300 animals per year (source- FAOSTAT). The medium of that is 200 animal lives saved. So that's 10,000,000 animals saved. All for talking to a clown on his show. Worth it.
@@xenithsanguine I agree with the general logic, but your numbers are unfortunately way too optimistic. It's very unlikely half of his subscribers will watch the video. That would be an insane amount. I think typically around 10% of a cannel's subscribers watch a single video. And then, especially with his audience, I don't believe 5% of the watchers would go vegan just because they saw the video. I would love to live in a world where it works like that, but unfortunately people are extremely resistant to self reflection and change.

@@xenithsanguine I said I don't believe 5% of the viewers will go vegan, so 10000 is still much too high in my opinion. It's much more likely that 0 people will go vegan from the direct impact of the interview than 10000. But even if it just has the smallest impact, of course it's worth it. And in my experience it's not one piece of media or information that makes people go vegan, but thoughts that keep adding up in their heads over time. So we need these little pieces of information and reminders of the cruelty towards animals everywhere. But it's still crucial to keep a realistic perspective on how much impact we can have.
The worst peers episode I've seen is where he gets somebody to bring a Steak on a 🍽️ . He proceeds to greedily consume the flesh for the sake of bellitling the two Vegans..

It isn't difficult to imagine the idea of Jesus being a vegan, considering empathy and compassion were extremely important to him. I highly doubt he actually performed miracles, or that he has any connection to the demiurge of the old testament, he just liked helping people and used religion to justify it.
I'm a little curious about Christspiracy, so maybe it's worth watching? Sometimes I wonder if he just picked up herbal remedies on his travels and gave people medicine. It would've seemed miraculous to some people, and I could see this being one of the perks of being vegan in the ancient world; you would know which plants benefit people the most.
Veganism has always been about harm reduction to animals. Only in the mind of non vegans is it about perfection and anything less negates it. Yes some bees are undoubtedly killed in almond and avocado production. You know who else eats almonds and avocados besides vegans? Most non vegans. But in addition they also cause the death of 80-90 billion land animals and marine animals into the trillions. Which is worse? And I’d love to see any studies on how much of the total decline in bees and other pollinators is due to the clearing of forest and grasslands for animal agriculture.
Lastly Pierce is super hung up on labels, lol. Who cares if someone comes across as ‘sanctimonious’ ? How does that invalidate what they are saying?
Kameron explained it perfectly by saying there's an ethical way to farm avocados and almonds without harm to anyone, which vegans currently have no control over -- but not one single ethical way to turn animals into food. And Kip & Kameron came across the opposite of sanctimonious, so Piers needs to look up the definition then look in the mirror.
Who decides where that ethical line is drawn? A carnivore who only eats grass fed meat undoubtedly causes fewer deaths than a vegan. If you are a true vegan why not have your own garden where you can ensure as less deaths as possible, and also never eat at a vegan restaurant either. But no veganism is about where vegans want to draw the line at their comfort level. So, given that is the case, they should let people make their own choices about eating meat.

Did you know in the King James Version god sacrificed a lamb multiple times.
1. He provided a lamb to be sacrificed instead of Abraham sacrificing his son Isaac
2. God ordered the Israelites to sacrifice a lamb each and display the blood on each door post so when the angel of death would see it and not harm them as it went on to kill the first born of Egypt during the Passover

Sorry so Piers said he was a Christian but had to do a lot of research, he kept talking over them, brought up the "bees" which he spoke over when they tried to answer. My husband who eats meat (but does eat alot of vegan meals) even said every time he sees Piers talking to a vegan, he comes across extremely childish and doesnt want to listen. If James hadn't eaten flesh since birth it's likely that his parents didn't either and that they would have brought up all their children that way. As for one book not being in the Bible - the Gospel of the Ebionites - being a conspiracy theory, Morgan must be unaware that lots of books were kept out of the Bible after the Council of Nicea started the process of deciding what should go in and what should be omitted.

He can't win the argument, so he dropped all of it and went back to the "But the bee's tho" argument, just like with the Carbstrong interview, to have this one argument to call Vegans hypocrites. But that also fails so bad, but don't want to admit it. Piers alsways had problems with Vegans as he must feel bad somewhere in his unconscious mind, but when he stays with the "bee argument, he somewhere feels better. It's quite sad. A sad old man who knows Vegans are better, but he's addiction and ego goes against it.
