I myself was born with spina bifida and my lesion is at L5 to S1. I have gone through so much in my 19 years of life and have overcome it all because I know God has a plan for everyone no matter how hard things may be. Your little guy is going to do amazing things! With every difficulty he faces I pray he will overcome them just like I did! ❤️

Also, as a NICU nurse, it’s so cool seeing the parents perspective on their stay with their baby. It makes me want to continue to strive to be a better nurse to those sweet babies. Also, it’s so sad to take care of little ones who’s parents never come to visit them. I love seeing how involved you are in his care. You are wonderful parents to that sweet baby boy!
Thank you for the work you do! My son was in the NICU for six days and his nurse holds such a special place in my heart. I couldn't believe how many babies didn't have someone by their side. I spent every chance I could being there and involved in his care plan. ♥️ NICU strong.
Medical undergraduate from South Africa here. Just found your channel and I'm so glad I did! You definitely have a world changer and love his name - and I do believe God uses His children to proclaim his name. A couple in my cell group struggled to conceive but after a prophetic word and 7 years they finally gave birth to Isaac (Isak in Afrikaans) and they are using his story to spread the power of the only living God.
May you guys be blessed with many opportunities to do so, and may there be many more miracles!
When Craig was holding his I truly realized how tiny azariah is. He is definitely a premie baby. I will continue to pray for you guys to have a quick recovery and that all tests come back normal! I love you guys 💕💕

Y’all have no clue how blessed you are that you got to be so interactive while in the nicu. My first was 34 weeks and he stayed 11 days...my husband had to go back to work because financially we needed him to be home when the baby came home. I had a c section and pretty much slept all day and night but woke every 3 hours to pump and when I was awake i would just cry. I’d wait for my husband to get home and then go see him every night. There was no camera or anything...I would have to call the nurse and ask questions. It was one of the worst experiences of my life because I missed my baby more than anything in the world. Thank you for sharing so much with us, I love watching every step and love your family!! Congratulations! He’s perfect!!!

I don’t know if you’ll see this but your story is INCREDIBLE. My brother was born with spinabifida. And at the time they didn’t have the technology they do now beings that he’s almost 25. They told my mom to abort him.. she got so mad she found a new doctor. That doctor told her he would be paralyzed from the waist down and would never really be able to do anything. She didn’t care though, she wanted her baby boy after previously having 4 miscarriages. He’s a miracle baby. He walked by age 2, and now he does everything that any “normal” adult could do. But it took multiple surgery’s right after he was born and being in the nicu for months. I’m so happy for you guys and your beautiful baby boy!
Honestly blown away by how you've made the best out of living in the hospital for months. So stoked for y'all to be discharged home and am so pumped to see how God keeps using the Thiery's.
Look at that sweet little face, what a champ! Like I've said, Cincy Children's is amazing. So glad you are there. What a wonderful hospital, literally saved my son's life, by the grace of God. My son is 23 now and his wonderful dr recently retired from there.
Seeing how fabulous he is moving his legs is a total MIRACLE !!! Lovely to see his girlfriends sweet parents also ! I have not been following you for very long, but I am so thrilled at how things are looking so great now . To be at home now, what a relief ! 🐯🐻🦁

I’m happy to hear he’s doing good. I know how hard it is to have a baby in the nicu. I have an almost 7 month old that was in the nicu for the first month. My daughter was born with an underdeveloped jaw and a cleft palate. So she had to have 2 surgeries before she could leave the hospital. She had a 3rd surgery after she left the hospital. Now she has to have one more to fix her cleft palate. We didn’t know she had the underdeveloped jaw until she was born and she was having a hard time breathing.

My baby girl was in the NICU for 101 days. I'm jelly of the camera and that yall got to stay. I think those options would have made our journey a lot more peaceful. I'm so glad your baby boy is healthy and strong.
That book was a gift to me years ago,my Son’s are 51 and 44. That book is in safety deposit box. You three are so precious! Daddy be gentle💙💙💖

" whoa that's too much!" 😅 I've said that with every child... multiple times:). This whole experience has reflected so much love, humility, courage, etc. You guys are rocking it. I have a child who was born with cystic fibrosis so I can relate to having all the "extra" stuff and extra emotions to work through.... also wait-and-see approaches. I feel like we could be friends in real life :) keep pressing on! You're such a fun and sincere family to watch. I love how you showed the name reveal video before the labour. Get a Hakka it will be a life saver! You put it on the opposite side while he nurses and it helps empty that side so your not having to pump it after. You will be amazed.

How sweet that ya’ll all got a room together! I didn’t think nicu babies could have their parents actually stay with them. I thought they came for the day and left at night :( this seems MUCH better for baby! Cincinnati Childrens seems like an amazing hospital! We’re all praying for you guys and Aza Bean!

I have never had a baby, & I unfortunately I never will, but you seemed so mentally prepared & obviously your faith is SO STRONG. YOU were so “in the zone” & you followed the cues that your body was giving you! I was in pure awe of your determination & focus! Your husband was also a TREMENDOUS SUPPORT to you & he was right there with so much encouragement when needed! It was really beautiful to watch, especially given all that you have been through since that 20wk ultrasound...the temporary move to Cincinnati...the fetal surgery on baby T. while you were still pregnant...the modified bed rest after surgery...the glucose tolerance test😝 & then ~8 weeks in the hospital on bed rest ❤️🧡💛💗💚💙💜🤎🖤❣️. I THINK I JUST DESCRIBED THE NEWEST SUPERHERO!🎉Seriously....CONGRATULATIONS on your new little family of 3! 👰🏼🤵🏼💞LOVE💁🏼♂️🤰🏼🔜🤱🏼🙏🏼FAITH👱🏻♂️+👱🏻♀️+👶🏼= FAMILY! 👨👩👦

I love the book Craig read to Azariah. I read it to my daughter every night when she was a baby. She is now a sassy teenager lol.
Congrats! Haaka pumps or any silicone pump is awesome because it will catch any let down or milk you have from the side he is not feeding from. The suction helps to pull the milk out
That pump is amazing! My little girl needed open heart surgery and I pumped using that machine and it was fantastic.
My boys are 25 & 19 & I used to read Love You Forever to both of them....I would sing “I’ll love you forever, I’ll like you for always, as long as I’m living, my baby you’ll be!” Every card I have ever given them has that phrase on it as well....& they both have books signed by me with notes in them that I hope they will read to their children one day. Your son is so adorable, may God continue to bless your family🙏

Oh man the NICU life. I remember that all too well. My daughter was in the hospital for 3 weeks because she was born at 31 weeks. It was scary but we had a great hospital which made things so much easier for me. He’s just perfect and God has given you such a precious gift.
My oldest is 23 & i read this book to him when he was younger , I now read it to my grand babies & can not get through it without tears in my eyes .. Don't blink I promise you it goes so quick ❤️
Aw this is so heart warming❤️ as the mom of a special needs boy who was in the nicu for 2 months i can totally relate and understand what you’re both going thru so my heart goes out to you guys nicu life is not easy, but faith does keep you going every day. I stumbled on to your channel about when you discovered your baby had spina bifida and you were fervently praying as a faith community that God would heal your baby. . God has healed him in His time and His way. And what a beautiful story God has been writing. ! I have a daycare center and I wrote your baby's name on one of the chalkboards in a program room so I could remember to pray frequently for God's healing and His will in your lives. . God bless you as God continues to write your story !
😘😘😘. My daughter loved this book so much that she knew it by heart in her mind from the picture. She would read it to her great gramps when he was ill and he thought she could really read......at two. He never knew the real truth. All my kids nursed so much better if wrapped like a burrito. In time you’ll find what he likes best. Yep when the milk comes in ya feel like a cow....always leaking but then it evens out. Just keep nipples healthy. It’s such a miracle body knows what to do. Hope you’re home in comfy bed and everything continues to be good. I finally closed all the books and went with my gut and heart. A momma knows what to do even when ya need to ask for help. “God was like ‘lol’” girl, you can’t convince me God doesn’t have a sense of humor. So happy for you guys. :)
For all of you Mothers that keep suggesting this or that, mainly putting clothes on him, most all newborns in the NICU they have to make sure the baby can regulate their temperature themselves or if they need help doing this... In the meantime you are not allowed to put any clothes, socks, or hats on them. When you finally can, they still have rules where you can only do 1 or the other. Not to mention, the room is probably really warm and they monitor his temperatures anyway. All of us Mothers have made mistakes and learned, let her live and learn with her own baby please. She has plenty of guidance in her life. You can definitely tell she has her Mother's instinct, she knows what to do and has became an AMAZING Mother.

So glad that you were able to sleep in with him in the NICU! What a blessing! When my Jacob was in NICU for 46 days I had to stay on a different floor in the Ronald McDonald House on site at night and it killed me to be away from him! Plus side, it was like a hotel room and had a full size bed, not that I slept much. Lol Prayers for y'all and your sweet boy! Can't wait to see him again in the next vlog, hopefully your going home vlog!

Your baby is so beautiful...thank you for sharing your story! What a sweet family! My OB doctor gave us that book when our first child was born. She is now 27 years old and that's the book I saved for her. I will say that after having 4 children all 3 of my sons went through all of the stages in this book, and 2 of them are now on their own. I have yet to bring a ladder...

I had to stop the video at ‘I Love You Forever’ and write this because my mom used to read this to me as a kid and it got me lol It was one of my very favorite books and still one of my fondest memories. I’m so happy for you and all the miracles you’re receiving. I’m thankful to have virtual friends out there who are living in/with/through/of/as/for God. I personally no longer resonate with being a Christian, but that doesn’t matter because I know Love, God and I see that you know Love, God too. Thank you for being brave enough to share your testimony and choosing to live your life in service. I cried my eyes out watching your birth video. You’re an incredible woman and I will continue to send prayers out for you and your family. Even if we walk different paths, we all have a path we must choose - that is the way. you remind me of that. My heart jumps for joy for you two. I remeber that time with mine 2 weeks in the nicu and im glad that azeriah can be on his back so soon ezabelle couldnt be on her back for two months but thankfully they have what they call a car bed and basically she had to be on her tummy in it for 6 weeks and it was scary because of the risk of sids but i will not forget the sideways diapers lol lots of leaks but again i am so happy and overjoyed that god has blessed you with such an amazing gift and i believe he truly will be a world changer i pray that god will continue to watch over azeriah and his journy as its just beging and i pray that he too will be able to walk and i pray that the hydrochepalous is under control and i pray for good renal outcomes and i pray that god will bless this little boy and may he bring joy and happiness to whoever he is around and thank you for. Sharing your story i love your videos and a little tip you may not want it but it will help in the long run make sureto strech his feet up and down and side to side because generaly they cant. Move them that wag and what happens is is that the achilles tendon tightens up and then they cant go in braces when that time comes and its a whole mess after that serial casting and surgery. Its your child but again i pray for you azeriah and your faimly in jesus name amen
