I was born in a world where Axl & Slash hated each other. Having the privilege to see these them together was mind-blowing. This concert was so incredible, I couldn't even believe what I was hearing. One of the best ones I've ever been to.

Some parts sounds like "Anastasia solo " from Slash
before I say this I'm a massive fan of Slash seen him live I don't know how many times but to say he's the best player on the planet it stupid. Satriani, eric Johnson, Bernard Allison, Brad Paisley, Guthrie goven and many more far surpass him
both. But as I said I'm a massive Slash fan. and I don't care who's better. I made this comment as an argument to him saying he is the " best". I listen to each one of them artist at different times depending on my mood. not one guitarist in the world is the "best" just putting my comment into context.
Welllllllll I would say it would be hard to compare the 2 seeing as this was shot with a cellphone. I think he's using a mix between JCM800's and his AFD100 soo... I'd say it's pretty darn close.
I disagree. I've looked up as you suggested. Way to much gain in Paris. And his phrasing is much better now. He has definitely grown as a guitar player
I think Slash being in Guns n Roses makes him such a better guitar player then his snakepit/VR era(and better then 99% of all other guitar players on this planet). Don't get me wrong he was fantastic in those bands, and I love them to pieces. It's just that everything he plays sounds so much better in a GNR setting.. I dunno why.. but this is the band that made him who he was as a guitar player and I really think it's showing in these new GNR shows. This solo is on par if not better then the solo's he played back in the day, just for the fact that hes gotten that much better over the past years. I love you Slash. : D

He's using neither. He never really used the afd100. He is using the silver jubilees and his snakepit era heads

I can’t imagine the feeling of actually seeing him play in person, it’s gotta have a much different vibe than just watching it on video.
He uses phrigian scale and byzantin scale actually some arabic sounded exotic scales with blues scales
I doubt of he has ever heard his Tokyo tone or the phrasing in that era for the Godfather...
