Great video! This one and the one you assemble solo in that parking lot. Where did you get the tiller extension and what is the name of the wooden part that attaches the mast to the front of the boat? Thank you!

Thanks! That was actually a DIY tiller extension, I took a 3/4" tube of aluminum and cut it to size, then put some heat-shrink grip on it. Drilled a hole and used a pin to attach/detach. The wooden part that holds the mast is called the mast partner I believe, I know not all these boats had them.

I have a C-15 that I’m considering restoring. It was mostly abandoned and I’ve sailed another one with another person. How stable is it to sail singlehanded without being on the trapeze? Appreciate your videos as the other videos by other people mostly show the boat racing. I’m interested in day sailing.

Sounds like a fun project. In light to moderate winds you can make it work single-handed. Definitely only light winds with the jib though, unless you're an absolute animal lol. I think it was probably only about 8-10 knots here and I was on the trap with the boat level. I am planning on going out again in some more wind to see how much I can get out of this boat on the trapeze. If yours has the wires I say go for it though! This was only my second time on the trapeze, and really only my first time actually on it for more than a few seconds. As long as you have the ability to throw weight around, the large displacement of this boat makes it stable and everything happens in slow motion.
