REALLY REALLY happy to hear BlurCafe's remixes solely because there was an effort to convert what was heard in the recordings, this made my day to watch haha
Man... This is awesome! I wasn't even sure there was official new music but so glad there was and an attempt to preserve them was made... this legit made my day. I love F-Zero
It makes me happy to hear TheBlurCafe's remakes used in this. CosmicTailz's compositions are enjoyable, but the commitment to authenticity is what really matters, in my opinion. Was there a particular reason you decided to go with Sand Storm for Forest II and not use the remade Silence II?
Yes on both. Though the broadcasts had new music that I thought should be preserved, the association with the venue was weak at best. There's no way that Big Blue II and Sand Storm II sharing the same music was an intentional design choice. There's also the fact that among the different broadcasts, Sand Storm I/II each had 3 separate pieces of music play over the top of them. So I took a different approach. I kept the original music for Big Blue II, Silence II, and Mute City IV to add a sense of cohesiveness with the base game. Then I tried to match the music to the course. Each time the same venue appeared in the same league, I switched to a different set of music with the same general vibe. The music for Forest I/III and II are jazzy tunes really heavy on the backbeat. Metal Fort I and II share strong bass lines and synths, for a neon-future aesthetic. This matched what later games did for the Lightning venue, which has a lot of similarities with Metal Fort. The song that played in the broadcasts over Silence II was given to Metal Fort II. It felt like a really good "final course of the game" song. Sand Storm I and II are more frantic, experimental tunes. Listen especially to Sand Storm I and II back to back, and you'll see that they "feel" like 2 halves of the same whole.
@@PowerPandaMods I appreciate the comprehensive response! Normally, I watch the whole video and read the description before leaving a comment but I was in a rush yesterday and totally missed that you used "Silence II" on Metal Fort II - totally on me. I get the vision, "Silence II" has a triumphant but sort of wistful vibe to it that really fits the final track. Also, from an F-Zero fan, thank you for the hard work you put into helping make this hack possible.
Where'd you get the PCMs for Forest II and Metal Fort II? I used the "Original Soundtrack with TheBlurCafe recreated Satellaview stage music" MSU-1 patch on the link you provided, but it's missing the Forest II and Metal Fort II tracks. Currently, I hear Metal Fort I in Metal Fort II, and Forest I in Forest II. Thanks in advance!
Hello there. I couldn't find any info beforehand regarding my question and I figured I'd turn to someone who helped worked on the BS F-Zero Deluxe mod. So on the records screen after beating a league on master difficulty, there appears to be a new music piece that replaces the original race end piece. Sorta sounds like something from a squaresoft game. It even has unique menu sound effects only heard in that one part of the game. I was wondering if you or anyone else on the mod team would share what that new music piece is, whether it's original for the mod or taken from another game?
It is the music and sound effects from the BSX boot rom, "The Town Whose Name Was Stolen". Master difficulty didn't have sprites for the 4 new cars, so this was added as an easter egg.

F-ZERO 99でも走りたい。DLCが配信されることを願ってる。

I converted every track of blurcafe in the music set so you can place them for whatever stage you desire.
7:33 That's Sand Storm 1 & 2's theme from GP1, OOPS 😅
Not an oops. Intentional choice.

@@MrFillyFillyFilly I used Sand Storm I for Forest II and Silence II for Metal Fort II. You just have to rename the PCM files.

@@PowerPandaMods I see. Thank you for answering.
Y por qué sería "semi oficial" ? 🤔
The music is an SNES-style recreation of the music used in the original broadcasts.
Why does metal fort 2 have silence 2 music
see Power Panda's reply to SerenadeURAs question from 3 days ago, he explains it very detailed there.
Well, to me weirdly, it feels like it fits in as the final race of the league
