Isn't there more to bump steer ? than just making the tie rod level with lca - if the rack tie rod pivot point is not aligned up with upper and lower control arm as it goes though suspension travel the tie rod length changes at a different rate making bump steer?
Does your tie rod arm have to be the same length as your control arm

When my car does a wheelie and sets down, my front wheels jerk back and forth rapidly until the catch again. Bump steer fixes that issue as well
tie rod has to be same length as suspension rods and same angle thats it you do not telling it right
