When you have a Zappa song in your repertoire and can kill it, you are a talented musician.
I've got this in mine, but I murder it. Lol
@@shaunkelly9860 lol
Yep
It's amazing
He is older now, but I don't think this could get better
He nailed it, good golly😮
To the 41 (to date) who have thumbs downed this magnificent cover either are not musical or never heard Zappa play it. Masterful Quinn!
or they are just A h
I've been listening to Zappa since 1969 and I love listening to him even more as I get older. (Heard him live once, his son live several times) but to hear others also blitz on covers like this just soothes my soul!
One day this dude will be regarded as one of the greats of guitar.
Quinn Sullivan being Quinn Sullivan as best as he knows how.
this kid is so good...just class.!!...i love to hear a 335 being played with style,,,,nothing like it.
as usual.. rocking it
Come all without, come all within
You'll not see nothing like the mighty Quinn
Blown Away !!! The stuff after the keyboard solo with the Wah pedal picked up where Frank left off ! Kid you made Maestro Zappa proud !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Then after all that, smoothly comes tight into the signature riff
I've never heard of this guy, what a fabulous guiitarist.
Walk back to Quinn & Buddy guy-Quinn 8yrs old!! Dam🤘
My favorite Zappa compilation 👍👍😎
Big fan of Frank. This is by far the best cover anywhere. Thanks
I have been watching a lot of vids by Quinn and he doesnt show off , he just plays fantastic guitar . And I love that !!!!!!
Makes me really happy, that new generations of serious guitar players now take the stafette. They will be the guitar heroes of the future. Quinn obviously has all it takes
Great job, Quinn, well done!
Fantastic tone! Great rendition!
Great to see young people keeping FZ's music alive.
Love this songs so much and this may be the best rendition I have ever witnessed. What a talent!
It's nice the kid plays the music of the Master!
The best cover version of this song, i've ever heard and seen. Brillant.
Another outstanding vid from 1AnitrasDance 🌺🌻🥀🌷
Mr. Quinn Sullivan is a new and young rising star, guitarist and vocalist on the world stage of rock music great talent everything in front of him !!
I had the pleasure of seeing this kid opening for Buddy Guy in Greensboro, NC in August. He was great. Played effortlessly when opening, and for encore with Buddy. I was lucky enough to chat with him, and get his autograph before Buddy went on.
Damn! I bet that was pretty cool show.I saw Buddy Guy at house of blues in myrtle beach but Johnny Lang opened for him.I was hoping it would be Quinn Sullivan but I can't complain, it was a free show.
He will undoubtedly be a Great
dezert fox He is superb! I mean he will be in the Hall of Fame
Jaco Cilliers - hi Jaco howzit? Don't you think he' great already??
All the knockers get lost ??? Quinn is amazing. He is our salvation when all the old Guitar Greats leave us. Remember Quinn is only 18 and has decades to master the craft. At the moment he is Unreal and he will smash it and be PERFECT when he is 60.
Go Quinn ... Keep the Blues dream Alive
+Dave Cranston "Only" 18? C'mon dude, we can all agree that Quinn is a kickass guitarist, but at 18 he is a grown man.
He will no get much better because he is already so amazing
Very gifted young man
People playing 50 years will not have his skills
I believe once he finds his own sound he will have reached his full potential
He has certainly mastered other greats styles
Take The Red Pill
I've been playing for years,, guitar takes a very long time,, he's essentially on a two chord vamp,, his tone is excellent, and he's got great technique .. he'll get tired of this and move in to other rythm and scale combinations if not he'll have a short career.. you just keep, learning, there is no I got it all moment.
The bass players expression tells the story! DAMN!
Monumental!!! Este joven es un auténtico maestro y Mira que es difícil, bordar un tema de Frank Zappa... Y lo hace...
So sad I can only like it once on utube... Five starrrZ!!!
Perfect absolutely perfect, I love long music tracks with a high level. This is a master piece, with a high performance! Unbelievable
This is the first time I've heard Quinn. His notes just leap through the speakers!!
What a talent...Quinn Sullivan you blew "Black Napkins" away! Wishing you continued success...you are amazing.
Wow, that's one telented kid.
And this was done when he was around 18? Amazing.
He has to be one of the most talented guitarists on the horizon.
He's amazing! Nice!
F’n A!…xlnt cover…outstanding performance. Well done gentleman.
Absolutely fantastic!!!
Thanks for this post! Grateful for RUclips!
Just don't get tired of listening to Quinn play, love this one.
This guy is a genius
Playing a Frank Zappa composition is not a easy task! Great job!!
Who, I ask who would even attempt such a feat and suck seed.(smile)??? From an
old, literally, Zappa fan from wayyyyy back...….
It's not really a composition though, is it? It's a guitar solo (including a little recurring motif) over two chords. The only section involving composition is FZ's outro, and these guys leave it out. Now if they were to whip out, say, Sinister Footwear, the attempted feat would be something. (That said, he's a really nice player..)
@@lesrankin1767it's one of the easy Zappa pieces, a two chord jam, really well played though. Quinn's phrasing is great, keyboard solo transformed it into his own thing.
Nice stuff
@@lesrankin1767 its def a composition tho
composition definition:A work of music, literature, or art
EC was here well you could call it a composition literally, but the sheet music for this would be 8 3/4 bars with endless repeats.
OMG !!! AMAZING !!! SUPERLATIVE PERFORMACE !!!
The tone is raw, dry, and to die for.
I love his amazeing knowledge of his Gutar playing. Whatva musisian he is
This kid was conceived with a guitar in his hands!. It don't get no better than this......fabulous!
Frank was ahead of his time! Hope Quinn is too! Looking forward to it!
Collin Bradley is killin' the keyboards!
I have been playing guitar for a very very long time and when i see this i have to go play for hours on end...
Je découvre l 'immense talent de Quinn Sullivan. Énorme !
Singing 335 oh so beautiful . . everytime!
Amazing as always...awesome version...well done!
Yes, Quinn is talented
This Kid is Awesome! He's making that ES-335 sing! I have never heard of him before? Where have I been? He is fantastic! Wow!
The bass player is certainly enjoying this
If you want to prove to the world, you've got world class chops, you play Zappa.
I see you everywhere.
A great song choice. Beautiful
A fantastic guitar player......doing a great job! Knocked way out of the park.......and down the street! Amazing.....
Incredible Talent
Incredible.
He is making love to that guitar. Great! See the older guy on bass enjoying it! I can't get enough of this!
*Keeps applause * Amazing young man
Excelente versión !!!! Quinn eres muy virtuoso y elegir un tema del maestro indica que vas por buen camino. Saludos desde Argentina
greetings to you. from distant Russia, from the city of heroes - Maloyaroslavets. who turned 620 years old on June 11. I want to thank you for the wonderful review comment about the work of Quinn Sullivan!
I've been following his work for several years. for the first time I was struck by what. he was still a little boy, and my beloved Buddy Guy, whose work I have been following since 2005 and took him under my patronage!
I learned quite late about a wonderful direction of music, such as blues - rock. unlike others, but everyone comes to their favorite music at different times!
I believe that every age has its own hobbies. I was amazed that the guitar makers made an individual small electric guitar for Keane and how he played it is generally super!
I am delighted that he played with Joe Bonamassa just amazing!
except for my hobby.
I am currently developing a very relevant topic on fuel economy of any kind at any gas station in the world! This is a super-modern technology. developed and brought to mind in the United States of America and this technology has been used for 12 years by commercial transport companies, as well as large factories. And it was developed first for cars participating in NASCAR races.
I order it from an online store and receive it in the mail.
And I have already been using this wonderful fuel catalyst for 4.5 months!
Well, what can I say, I am very satisfied!
And on a tank of 45 liters - savings of about 26%!!!
And drives further than before!
And at the same time, I unscrew the candles every 2 months and look.
. And yesterday there were 2 times when I unscrewed candles.
And the candles are dry, working perfectly!
And my Toyota FunCargo car rides just like a Formula 1 sports car.
I highly recommend it!!!
Yes, and, by the way, I'm looking for a partner in South America, where the fuel is of the same quality as in Russia, to put it mildly, not very ....
And this catalyst works very well just where the fuel quality is not very good!
It is interesting to write in a personal account. whatsapp telegram.

Phenomenal!
This dude nails it. Frank Zappa is the best MUSICIAN I've ever seen and heard. First seen Zappa and the Mother's in Fall River, Mass back in 1967 . Zappa was the warm up band for The Vanilla Fudge. Haven't been the same since. Quinn Sullivan seen him about 15-20 times in Fall River and New Bedford Festivals. Thanks for the wonderful music Natasha very much appreciated
My friend Ian just turned me on to this performance. Excellent. Thank you Quinn, keep them coming.
I remember when this kid was a kid
Love this tune! Follow it up with Pink Napkins!
Zappa's compositions are complex, but this kid is amazing.
I STILL LOVE FRANKS VERSION,.. BUT YEAH,...THIS KID DEFINITELY ROCKS
Which one of Frank’s versions ?
@@gostrum1 I was thinking the same thing. I, of course, don't know how many times Frank & the different musicians who made up his "rocking teen combo" over the years played this tune in a concert setting but you can bet each time was different. Of the recordings that I've heard, one of my favorites is one with Eddie Jobson taking the first solo on violin followed by Frank's fairly subdued solo which has a really unique flavor to it.
Thanx for uploading, really appreciate it!!
Wow I'm so glad I found these Quinn Sullivan vids. I will be following his concerts for as long as I can. God has truly blessed him with a beautiful gift.
amazing
Well done young man! Frank lives on in you!
Thanxalot Natasha!!

Look at the bass player. Could be his dad. And how he loves to see the young man play his hart out in this very difficult piece of music. This is fabulous.
