Absolutely kickass. He's grown into a great artist and a complete package!
This kid gets it
Really great performance by Quinn and the band, and it is good to know another generation is still performing good music, and keeping the torch alive.
Wonderful Eric's Tribute from New Generation !
Can't believe I haven't heard of Sullivan Quinn before . Keep it up .
Marvin Jones I highly recommend to listen the same piece at Buddy Guy Legend's in January 2013.
Quinn is still 13 when playing and singing!!! (Born in March -99)
Video published 7.4.13 (Sorry for my poor English.)
Amen to that! Nice rendition.
very tasty all round .. great bass solo and all with feel..respect!
Ive just seen the best solo ever
No doubt about it! Is a baby Eric with the pushing of the youth!!!!! Super great guitar player!!! Congrats!
To bad they never play anything new on the radio this kid would be selling a lot of records..... Go baby Eric go.
One more Aerosmith song and I think I will idk .......
I first heard him on SiriusXM's Bluesville station. Unbelievable talent!
Buddy Guy got ahold of him when he was only 8 and already killin it...hope he continues to grow...reminds me of how far Derek Trucks has come. In regards to the 2nd part of Layla, Eric told him "Hell I wrote it and you play it better than I do"... Amazing to see them Live ✌
Love Clapton but he hardly wrote Layla tbf, Duane wrote the main lick and the piano piece was Bobby Whitlock, Clapton just put his stamp on it which made it what it is as Clapton can take other peoples ideas and just completely polish them.
@@MaizenBlue81 Clapton wrote the lyrics and the piano part was credited to Jim Gordon but Bobby Whitlock said it was actually Jim's girlfriend Rita Coolidge who came up with it. Duane came up with the main riff
shit, this is best thing I've heard in a long time. Really refreshing blues. Keep it up kid
Bravo veramente bravo !! Bella band complimenti !
Wow 👍👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏🇱🇺
Derek and the Dominoes Revival.
Great Performance 👍👍👍👍👍
Absolutely one of the best guitarist I've ever seen
~ Got to get better in a little While ~ Original by Eric Clapton/Quinn Sullivan ( born March 26/1999 in New Bedford Massachusetts) is an American Guitarist & Singer.
Fantastic and such a great song!
Too tasty for mere words!!! Loved this!!
Unbelievable talent. Good on you young Quinn. Thank you for carrying on the torch of great musicians.
Quinn Sullivan can be God 🙏🏻 keep performing well n stay focus buddy you are the next big thing... I can see Bieber n Cyrus’s of the world running for life 👍🏻
Dont know much about Bieber, but Miley Cyrus is an awesome vocalist. May not be your bag, but I cant see how anyone familiar with her work cant see her talent.
This guy is a natural.
Stay True To You. Keep Playing
Damn Dude Great job....Glad to see younger people stepping up
He play like Clapton.............Very Cool
YES!!
Awesome 👍🔥🎸🦅
awesome job"...
keep at it. it will.......
He's got "it!"
certainly so!
bass is cool to
yessssssssss
Amazing
Bravissimo
Watch the whisky....it sneaks up really quick.
Very impressive
Man man man this is so f...cking good
No wah wah?
Dommage qu'il n'y a pas de tournée en France
not half as exiting as the LIVE version of DEREK AND THE DOMINOS with Carl Radle´s rolling groove and Jim Gordons jazz-inspired drumming but still amazingly good and he´s no copy cat either
Good work kid...
If he plays his cards right and plays what he loves and not what the producers think is cool and hip, he can be the next Stevie Ray Vaughan. Only thing is that everyone who has tried has failed. Look at Chris Duarte.
Didnt know Tom Scott played guitar that good.
Really cool that he walks off the stage so as not to detract from the bass player solo.
He's got to be a "Clapton" .
How did I not know that Stevie Ray Vaughn and Eric Clapton had a baby together?
He is amazing. I live in NH and since he is from MA, lots of opportunity to see him live for short money. Check out his Let it Rain cover. I saw him open for Buddy guy when he was 10 and he brought the house down.
Nah, it was Eric Clapton and Derick Trucks!
That's gross not to mention impossible.
he is not a little kid anymore
18 yrs old, he's still a "kid" & lucky Buddy Guy is protecting him!!
How can ı get this guitar tone tell me please? I have zoom g5n
The next Clapton
Bullshit
@@waxhead63 You're right, Quinn may be even better!
@@georgewodicka4839 technically yes... but there is more to it then that im afriad
He’s too young to know what this song is really about. I don’t hear any pain in his playing. But he’s fucking on his way
Your playing and singing is fabulous but fire your sound engineer. Please.
Drummer is the weak link.
It’s cool this kid def knows good music and the history of it. But musically he’s doing the carbon copy thing, he plays way too similarly to Clapton for me to get excited about his playing. He spent years under buddy guy’s wing but it’s time he needs to find his own musical voice. Otherwise he will be get the “Bonnamassa” syndrome and won’t get beyond live gigs.
I see the comments here are very positive, but I have to say (RELUCTANTLY- as we need a new crop of American musicians to re-interpret our own musical roots i.e. the blues...) the back line in this band (bass /drums combo) is woefully thin on this tune as there is no drive/in the pocket and/or creating a foundation for the guitarist/vocalist to launch ; the vocals are somewhat bland (regardless of his age); the bass solo went nowhere as I would've given the keyboardist (hammond) the nod instead. The bass in general was lost in the live mix. Just my quick reaction/critique. All the best to them though.
My thought was that the keyboard player's mom must be mixing!
A fantastic player - now he needs to write a few songs ripping the conservative culture to a million pieces. People need to be listening to him drowning out the noise of Trump and the like. When that happens we will have another 'great' before us.
He actually has two albums
FFS you had to bring politics into this song. Geez.
@@bradalker5332 The lyrics literally say "Revolution all across the land/Just like sly, you got to take a stand"
Quinn.. you got MADD talent .. I'll say that.. but a front man singer.. you need... I have been ROCKIN for years.. but have been looking for a BAND that can COVER.... AND... do ORIGINALS... I've got 3 ALBUMS worth of songs... but want the right BAND .. to bring them to a reality... if its YOU.. than lets JAM.. and see of the magic is ours.... if not.. .. keep up the karaoke version of what yer sellin.. its tight.. and off the chart.. but wont make the top 40.. jus bein real.. no disrespect ...
Fuck Top 40.
