  • Had a fantastic time touring The Lake District taking the Advanced Rider training with RIDE MT. Gordon took us on some incredible roads with some of the best views in the UK. Visited the beautiful village of Grasmere and had a wonderful stay at Capernwray House. 5 weeks after the Pan America fall, we were fortunate enough to be able to book onto an Advanced Rider Training course run by Ride MT in the beautiful Lake District. Invaluable advice and guidance and possibly some of the best roads we have ever ridden. What an incredible experience!

Hi Guys, last part of the tour to the Lake District. Big thanks to both Gordon and Roy of Ride MT, we learnt loads and had 2 days of incredible riding. Sorry for the delay with the video, sadly we lost footage and audio so we did our best in trying to put the video together. Hope you enjoy it. Please make sure you subscribe and leave a THUMBS UP if you enjoyed it!

Grasmere Gingerbread shop looks great & Heidi's cafe. Amazing Beatrix Potter made $20Ml from her books. Incredible. Yeah would have been tough living in the old days without the mod cons. I ride my scooter around the city and people tell me they see me but I never see them. I tell them it's because they aren't somewhere that matters to keeping me from getting killed by cars and buses. You'll miss the little stuff but you'll be a better rider.

Those beach bars are very cool and really comfortable... but.... the bike would handle MUCH better with narrower, higher bars. I've played with the mini-apes on my Heritage. Moving them from a very low position, to a much more vertical position. It feels like a totally different bike. It almost feels "lighter". It takes far less effort to navigate turns. I think I remember Carolyn riding Brian's King, and commenting on how easy it was to make turns... His high and narrow bars are what makes that happen. As always... LOVE seeing you guys again! And Carolyn is getting saucier and saucier.... :D

Carolyne, you should come ride in Eastern Washington state in the middle of Summer, with temperatures above 110F (43C) common you will definitely learn measures to deal with heat. You'll also find some historic sites from the paleolithic to modern times. Brian will have spectacular vistas such as the Grand Coulee, Dry Falls, The Columbia River Gorge, and the Columbia River Basalts, as well as several active volcanoes in the Cascade Mountains. All with the Pacific Ocean only a few hours away.

One of my old bosses told me if you drop the seat height you become part of the bike and not just a passenger. When you rode Brian's bike you looked comfortable and I think you said you like the bars so I think try mini ape and a lower seat it's cheaper than a new bike.

    No no no.... !!!
Yeah, try other bikes for handlebar shapes and sizes but KEEP that Harley. Just change the bars when you've found the right ones.
If you change the bike the Bunny King Hogs channel will no longer be the same.
Look forward to more of your "flapping" around the lakes adventures.
Thanks, once again a wonderful video, just a shame Brian had to end it on such a sad note.

Triumphs new Sport 660 has caught my eye recently, it would be lighter with an upright seating position that can have a lower seat if needed. It also can come with panniers and topbox for touring. :)

There marketing group do a lot with vloggers, especially females , and you guys do have quite an audience now. Plus you are right in their target demographic.

It's quite the butt pucker when you lean too far, the foot board reaches it's max fold and you go that little bit more (too much?) and tripod (the back wheel comes off the ground and pops over a foot or so). Quite the pucker, the first time. The type of pucker where you could pinch a train rail off (NOT that I recommend riding with a train rail up your keester. Bad for the seat and your posture.).
Always be kind when talking about flat places. One of the most wonderful of God's creations. People have such horrible words for something so amazing...

It depends on who I am riding with, If I am riding with my wife with her on her Harley, we tend to ride much slower. If I am riding with friends that I grew up with and grew up with sport bikes and dirt bikes I tend to scrape the bords on my street glide chasing them on their Ducati`s

    Maybe it’s been mentioned already
I think your so used to country roads anything more than 40 mph seems extreme. I’m sure there’s hiways over there take a trip on there and get it to 70-80 mph you’ll see that horse just wants to run free and is pretty nimble. Those bars at low speed have to be awkward. Just my thoughts.

    • @BunnyKingHogs
      @BunnyKingHogs  2 года назад

highways/motorways are so straight and boring. Our country roads are actually 60mph so more fast cornering and gear changing action required but I do like pootling ❤️

I agree that the bars make your bike. Don’t see many Harleys with that style. Keep on riding and you will gain more confidence. Drop a gear, twist that throttle and it will take off. I gotta say I follow a lot of vloggers and your the first to talk about vaginas. 🤣 How much longer or shorter is your riding season? Stay safe

Capabilities however I don’t know how to say it I’ll just sum it up as you have to know your’s & the bike’s capabilities enjoy every video cause of the interaction between y’all
